guy like me? loved this game.

absolutely beautiful visually, stellar soundtrack, hilarious and gripping dialogues and monologues from the characters.
really fun and unique gameplay.
one of those games that I can only complain about not having enough of.
i could have been flipping eggs and listened to people ponder, complain, argue and discuss their lives for 30 hours without any hesitation over the Slop most big publishers/developers put out every year.

Water Museum are showing the sheer creativity and prowess in this game that indie devs like them can only display.
cant wait for the next project.

Another game forcing us to link our account to their third party account for no reason.
A third party account that is historically lacking security, has been breached several times, and is unavailable to certain parts of the world now forcing players from those places out of their own game that they have been playing just fine so far.

The community moderators and the developers have been callous on this issue, telling members of the community that their opinion does not matter on their own discord outright, and frankly the reasoning that the PSN account link is for "griefing and abuse" when it is because their overlords at Sony want to collect data on the massive PC only player-base of this game.

I do not have a PSN account. I do not want one.
To all developers and publishers, stop trying to get us to link accounts and download third party software and all of this other stuff that no one needs, as shown by the legion of games already on Steam that do not require it.

All of this to say, this game was fun when the devs seemed to care about what the players and the community wanted. I already stopped playing when their style of balancing a PvE game like a PvP game by nerfing the strongest options until you only have a variety of boring milk-toast equipment to use instead of buffing the weaker options so that everything feels fun and powerful took all of the fun out of the game for me.

amazing game, honestly one of the best games ever made and you should play it.
Act 2 is the best part of the whole game, hands down.

A masterfully crafted roller-coaster of emotions.

The sheer breadth and depth of the lore of this world is staggering, just considering that people sat down and wrote all of this is beyond my imagination.

Experience this for yourself.

After life, death. After death, life.

As soon as I picked up Roadwarden I could instantly tell that it was exactly what I was looking for, even if I didn't know it yet. I could not put this game down for several days until I had done everything I thought I could.

The writing, the visuals of the locations, and the soundtrack created a world I was not ready to leave by the time I finished the game. My only gripes are that I wish there was more, and I wish the text inputs were more common. I would like to see more in this series or in this style that expands upon what is introduced here in Roadwarden.

I will miss the feeling of exploring, investigating and running errands as the Roadwarden.

I loved this game from start to finish.

The story and player choices felt meaningful.
The art and music worked in tandem with the story and characters.
I felt this was an improvement on the first Life is Strange in every way.

A few of the dialogue was a bit off, a few lines just don't land well. But they were few and far between for me.

I hope to see more from this team.

EDIT: I am a bit disappointed that the game took me between 11-12 hours to complete with all my exploring of the town at ever opportunity and redoing a section of a chapter. I am very confident in the ability of the writers/developers of this game and I would like to have had more quality time in this world.

This game is great on all fronts. The gameplay and the gameplay loop itself fits perfectly into the story of the protagonist.

The retelling and re-contextualising, and canonising mistakes and changes over time of Hellenistic mythology is perfect. All the best parts of the Greek pantheon are on show in this game, with the parts that, although shouldn't be forgotten, omitted.

The story and gameplay fit so well together it's hard to imagine one without the other. It's a great game with a terrific soundtrack and visual design and it all comes together to be one of the most interesting gaming experiences of the last 5 years.

Highly recommend this game to just about anyone because although it is tough, it is rewarding even in failure.

Buggy mess still, years after release.

Infinite loading screen bug on most of my saves as soon as I try do anything on Havarl or Kadara. Forcing me to repeat hours of gameplay several times over in the hopes that this time I will be able to leave the planet this time. No community recommended fixes work and I'm just stuck repeating the same segments.

Could have been a great game, but BioWare is not what it once was. And this game proves that.
Do not buy this, it's not worth the frustration.

EDIT: In hindsight, despite my frustrations with some bugs, the game was good. Alot better than it was at launch. It's a shame that there was never any follow up because the premise of the game is stellar. It perfectly slots itself into the story of the original trilogy while being it's own thing. Andromeda is a glimpse into what could have been the future of mass effect had they stuck the landing.

6/10 game.

This game was once amazing. I loved it. Then they added characters that were incredibly unbalanced and made the game not fun. I come back years later and now blocking doesn't work anymore, they managed to break a mechanic that was perfectly fine, making the characters with ridiculously fast light attacks the meta. There is no conditioning, there is hardly any parrying or reading anymore. I miss the game I started playing and loved. If you see this game and think about picking it up, don't. Unless it gets fixed it is a shadow of it's former self, but god do I hope that it returns to being a great fighting game one day.
