They told me that our existence is only another of a long line of those of which have already been.
They told me that humanity is not the chosen species. That bad things happen to use because the beings that watch over time and the universe have deemed us unworthy of their efforts...
When our planet becomes a microwave of which Sol will consume the contents of, there is nothing left of us. All evidence that we even tried will be lost, only remembered by the eldest of entities that watch over our universe.
