On point game feel with stunning visuals, served by a story that unfolds on each run - à la Hades - with endearing characters.

Long story short: an amazing blend of Dead Cells, Hades and ScourgeBringer.
If you like any of these three, this is at least a must-try.

A very well thought competitive (although casual and fun) rhythm game. Mini-games require a broad array of music/sound related skills from rhythm matching to pitch/sound recognition, (and kudos to bonus rounds for being surprising and fun).

Humorous from its graphical design to its funky tunes, it was a very agreeable first contact.

Bonus points if you like pigeons in space with synthesizers.

Each time I dive into SynthVR to experiment or improve a patch, I know I'd be lost in time headbanging on my own silly tunes, in a neon arena, modules and racks floating around me.

Whether you know your way around audio synthesis or you don't, expect countless hours of fun, learning, experiments.

And the VR aspect adds a lot to the experience ; if like me you can't compose with a mouse (sorry VCV Rack) this will be your new home. Welcome.

Note for WMR users: Even though the game does not officialy support Windows Mixed Reality, I had no bindings issues in the game so far. (HP Reverb G2)

Early Access Review
Did some skateboarding 20 years ago and even I didn't delve that deep in it, I always had that itch for freedom and closure, when you achieve a trick for the first time, when you retry that trick countless times to get it right or simply when you ride.

Session provided that feeling, you have to earn your tricks, to plan for a line and if you're used to arcadey controls schemes, you'll struggle to achieve "simple" tricks (let's say a FS noseslide) ; which felt great.

If you like skateboarding and are looking for a simulation more than a toy, this is your game.

edit 0.0.0.7:
With the extended Pyramid Ledges and Philadelphia maps, new physics, a stat menu, board wear, primos, caspers, darkslides, I had to relearn some tricks but it was worth Session is shaping up good.

Must try.
