Threat to managed democracy (Sony) has been defeated, and I can do the right thing and recommend this game with clear conscience!

Previous review for the history:

Went to the swamp island on a boat.

Died like Boromir from draugr arrows before setting up a portal.

Made a raft, and tried to sail naked in a straight line.

Sail through a biggest storm I've ever seen on a flimsy little raft.

Became Christopher Columbus, and discovered that a tiny spec of land south of my wanted course extends north to Infinity.

Crash landed in a Black Forest, Greydwarfs destroyed my raft.

My naked self then proceeded to flee, and discovered Meadows on the same island.

Basically started the game from scratch there.

Made my preparations to see sail on a raft again, was only missing one Leather Scraps.

Find a strange village in Meadows, can see boars that I need in the distance.

Turns out that draugrs can be found in Meadows too.

Died to draugr arrows once more.

11/10, I just can't make stories like these myself, and this game just does it constantly.

I’ve played this game since it was in a really early alpha, back in 2011, and I’m really glad that developers put in so much effort over the years to shape it in a masterpiece it is now. Great choice of a game to escape the real world.

A real masterpiece to me, this game makes you get reduced to just your ears and reflexes. It feels almost like some kind of trance!
