Blender is free! Now that we got that out of the way, let's review the software regardless of its price.

If Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V are tough keyboard shortcuts for you to remember, blender is not for you, because it has a LOT of hot keys. At first, you may consider this to be a con, but with time you will begin to appreciate them.

This is an All-in-one program. You can model, animate, simulate, edit videos and stills. Hell, even make games with it! And it all comes in a tiny package of only 250MB!

And if that isn't enough for your needs expand Blender with pre-installed and online plug-ins.

There are tons of tutorials and a large friendly community online.

It keeps getting better. The future versions will be much more efficient and feature-packed.

Hey look, the download has complete! Now go, make some 3D art!

Don't tell me you haven't played this game yet...

I recommend getting a half life or valve pack, rather than buying a stand alone game.
