Wasn't very sure about this game during the first couple of hours. The gun play is a bit clunky and it doesn't give you tutorials for the game mechanics but once I got the hang of it, this game had me hooked. The setting, the characters, the voice acting, the enemies are all great. I loved the little details like having to wipe off your respirator etc. A full play through only takes ~10 hours and this game is very often on sale so I highly recommend it.

The stuff that some people can do with this game blows my mind. Someone made a massive full scale Boeing 777 just using the default blocks and objects. There isn't actually a whole lot to do in this game past building and testing crafts as it lacks any sort of 'objective' other than a few missions which can all be done pretty quickly however it's still a really great game if you wanna kill a few hours here and there.

Only buy if you have friends to play with. It's a fun game if you just wanna mess around with friends. It's called a horror game yet it becomes quite stale after the first couple of contracts that you and nothing really scares you or makes you jump after that.

It's pretty good for an early access game but it could really do with some more polish and more content.

If you've already played this game but want to get it on PC, don't bother. If you haven't already played this game, it's fun if a little repetitive (as you could expect from a Farcry game). I'd wait for a sale personally.

P.S., The employee who decided to make the sprint button the same as the deploy wingsuit button wants to be fired.

The best, buggiest mess I've ever played.

10/10 would recommend.

It's a fun game for the first few hours but gets boring very quickly. Wouldn't recommend spending more than a fiver on this game.

An interesting and, for the most part, fun experience. A highly dynamic game that can go from light-hearted humour to your entire shift being wiped out by one maniac with a gun. The music and art style are great and really fit the theme of the game, although the choice of music in the third act felt really lacking.

If you don't mind making really difficult decisions, this game is a fun way to kill 20 hours.

*spoilers from here*

At first, I disliked the three distinct acts separated by time skips. I thought they were lazy attempts to shorten the game but after finishing the game, I think they were kind of necessary to stop the game from becoming too tedious. Another thing I dislike is that the ending felt very underwhelming. Very much like the ending of L.A. Noire. Speaking of L.A. Noire, this game is almost like a 2D strategy version of that game. I got the ending where Chaffee takes power, Rogers is killed and we lose Laura. One thing that really bugged me is that I think I got the ending where you don't make enough money because I had exactly $500,000 in the bank yet I got the ending where Jack is turned away at the club door and starts counting, for some reason, next to some dumpsters.

Also, what on earth happened to the mafia? They just straight up disappeared! Maybe I'm just being retarded and not noticing what happened to them but they just left. I also hate that some of the things that happen in-game don't seem to affect anything at all. The thumbs up you get from the police station didn't seem to affect anything in the end.

Overall, if you don't mind the lackluster ending, theme and story telling similar to L.A. Noire, pick this game up. If you don't, don't.

This game is kind of hit and miss. It's fun in quite a few ways, but quite lacking in other areas.

Firstly, despite what the store page says about the replayability of this game, I don't think many people will do more than one play-through. Maybe two if you want to do a speed run or to do it on the highest difficulty. The game lacks anything that makes me want to come back for more.

The actual gameplay is fun and thrilling for the first 2-3 hours, but becomes boring and tedious towards the end game. Once you realise that fighting the robots is the thing that's most likely to get you killed, stealth is really the only option unless you want a real challenge. The difficulty can be changed to suit ones tastes but just using the presets, it wasn't very difficult at all.

I can only recommend this game if you can get it on sale, as it isn't worth the full price, in my opinion.

This game is very different from previous Farcry games. I'm not saying that's a bad thing but this game just feels strange. So many things that I've grown accustomed too with older Farcry games gone, animations, radio/bell towers, upgrade crafting, mini map etc. that I miss when playing this game. It doesn't feel as satisfying as 3 and 4. Maybe I'm being harsh considering I haven't played through the whole game yet but that's because I simply got bored. The game is repetitive as hell and has no structure in the way you play the game at all, which is a good thing in a way but leaves you with so many options you don't know where to start. I do like the new arcade system with all the user generated levels but that's about it. The skill tree is very underwhelming and boring compared to 3 and 4.

The addition of in-game micro transactions for in-game items is also a bit of a kick in the teeth.

*Spoilers from here*

The story consists of you getting captured multiple times as you progress with the reputation points or what ever they were called and it's highly repetitive. There were a few moments that I thought were pretty well written and the characters are good but it's just boring. Nothing feels satisfying.

The antagonists, Joseph, Jacob, Faith and John, are not memorable at all unlike the great villains from previous games like Vaas, Hoyt and Pagan Min.

If you don't do what I did and really try and stretch out this game as much as I could to get my moneys worth, you could probably finish the story in about 5 hours. I've gotten more gameplay out of a 2D pixel art tower defence game that cost me two quid.

Maybe during this quarantine I'll get round to playing the rest of the story but at the moment, I've got better games to play.

*edit*

I feel like I should add some stuff that this game did well, just to be fair.

The game runs very nicely on my FX-8350, 8gb of RAM and RX480 which is very surprising for a modern AAA game.

This is also surprising because the graphics are beautiful.

New additions such as fishing, companions (although I personally didn't use them much), planes and much more varied wildlife are welcome.

There are two things that make this game entertaining: Friends and a VR headset.

To really enjoy this game, you will need one or the other. I have played with neither and the game feels like a social club where everyone is speaking a different language and/or is under the age of 14.

If you have friends to play with and a VR headset, this game is very entertaining, but if you are playing on your own without a headset, don't get your hopes up.
