I wasn't a fan of the price of this DLC, but with all the content you get from it, it's understandable. I believe the marketing team of this game decided to sell this game cheap (~3 euros) so people would be enticed to get the DLC later on. The base game has sixty songs, and the [Just as planned] DLC currently adds 407 songs to this total as the time of this writing, as every update after the purchase of this DLC is free and will add more songs. It is still being updated as well, the latest content update added to the game being a bit less than a week ago at the time of me writing this review. You also get several new characters, a bonus XP boost, alternate looks for your characters and several elfins

The only downside to it would be that buying the DLC unlocks every character available in the game. In the base game, some of those characters can be unlocked by getting a random item by leveling up. It's up to RNG and you drop one piece of item per level, and once you have 8 of that same item, an elfin or a character is unlocked for you to play with. It made the level up experience really something to look forward to. Since the DLC unlocks everything, leveling up has little purpose aside from unlocking more songs and illustrations that you can look at in the loading screens of the game. The illustrations are very pretty, but they're not much of an incentive to level up
I would have enjoyed to keep grinding for the characters as I did before buying the DLC, but it's really only a minor annoyance

Tl:dr: A must buy if you enjoy playing the game as it gives you a ton of content and even more is currently being added. Muse Dash without this DLC feels like a simple demo

It’s alright for the price. I think there needs to be improvements done about the camera (once you get too big, the camera clips through your character to see the town below, and it’s not easy to see what you’re stepping on when your pov is half covered by your character
Maybe add a first person view?
Crushing things is fun. Even though I’m part of the furry fandom I had never heard of “macro” before and I might not be the target demographic for it, but I went in thinking this would be a fun sandbox to break things away.
And it would be! If the game was bigger. The map is very small and everything’s over really quick. The cars don’t move, making the city feel very dead. Then again, it’s a five bucks game, so I didn’t expect too much out of it.
If someday you could import your own character’s model, that would add a lot to the fun of it, Especially in photography mode

Tl;dr

Cons:
- Only one “level” to play in, and it is too small. The game would greatly benefit of added zones/levels or make the current city bigger
- No life inside the city (cars don’t move, no humans/anthro creatures around except for you)
- Camera issues when you become too big

Pros:
- Very cheap
- Crushing things is both satisfying and fun
- If you could import your own model, this would be a lot more fun
- Plays just fine on Steam Deck

Overall not a terrible game, just needs a little more work!
