Surprisingly Addictive
----------------------
Marvel Heroes 2015 has become a new addition to my gaming library. As an avid rpg fan I was happy to find another game to add to my arsenal. I've only played the game for just under a month and can definately say it is worth the investment in both time and small amounts of money.

After playing DC Universe Online, I had low expectations for another super hero mmo rpg; 'pay to win' comes to mind. However, it is fairly difficult for an rpg to be pay to win. You play the game in your own time and enjoy it more as you progress, this review will focus on the Leveling aspect of the game, seeing as you will need to do this 88 times (88 heroes at the time of writing this review.)

Your first 20 levels will be your easiest and can be accomplished in under 15 minutes on some Heroes. However, once you hit level 20 leveling becomes a lot more tedious. You will be introduced to Legendary Quests, this is what you will be doing all the way to level 60. My first character took just under a week to level (playing for 2-3 hours a day) and it became a tedious chore to push through the last few levels. Never the less, it does become easier; the more heroes you have at 60 the more boosts you will receive both experience and stat wise. Keep in mind there are many factors to take into account when grinding. Some players have reported taking only 4 hours to level a hero from 1-60, utilising bonus experience boosts, hero synergy and server-wide boosts. Overrall, leveling isn't as bad as in some rpg games.

This game is heavily grind based but is some-what surprisingly addictive despite the end-less hours spent killing mobs and bosses. Each time you reach 60 you want to play a new hero however, although all the heroes are available to you up till level 10, you feel an enhanced sense of relief when you 'uncap' a hero, even if they don't sound exciting initially. I have uncapped 4 heroes at the time of writing this guide and can comfortabley say I enjoyed levelling each of them, mainly due to each of them having a unique skillset.

The end game content is still heavily grind based in the sense that you're trying to obtain the best items in the game, but once you've achieved this on one character you have 88* more to look forward to.

This game is certainly not pay to win, nor pay to enjoy, but I do recommend buying heroes when there is a particular special or sale like 'buy one get one free' as the more heroes you have the more you will enjoy the game.

Overrall, I give Marvel Heroes 2015 a 7.5/10.
