I'm really hurt.

You didn't have to start from the ground up. The mechanics, the HUD, the look and feel, the lighting, everything about the first game was damn near perfect. 505 Games, please, hear me out. The original Hawken, needs to be brought back. Same maps, same look and feel. Same PVP. From there, I would love to see you integrate PVE. I think PVE would work wonders in the original. Along with the PVE, you could add game lore. I would love to see co-op missions where you can learn about the world in which we once played in.

Unfortunately, I did not give this game much time, simply because I couldn't. I couldn't even try to enjoy the game as it just looks outdated, the feel is not what the game once was.

I appreciate you reviving HAWKEN, but if HAWKEN knew it would be brought like this, it would have filled out a DNR form.

Game was great till I had to restart a mission because I got stuck crouched on a table. I could do everything but move and of course that table was my GD checkpoint so I couldn't restart to latest checkpoint. BS. Just a ugly, broken game. And the thing about it is that I enjoy this game so far but that one little glitch that makes me redo an entire mission....basically negates everything. Forget this game.

Oh Halo. What can I say? It takes 24 bullets to kill an enemy but only takes 3 to get killed. I feel like this was the same circumstance a decade ago when I played Halo 3. Despite this annoying fact and having destroyed 2 mice and 1 keyboard, I still find myself coming back...

Evolve is a game changer

There is so much to say about Evolve! I have become instantly hooked and I must say that Valve and 2k games have taken the right approach by releasing what is practically an open-alpha. I mean it's brilliant. It works for the player and the developer. You want us to buy your game? Sure, let's just see what you got so far. Okay I like it! Only in alpha but it builds up hype for the real deal. Which you best believe I'll be doing. This game will be worth the money for sure. It is the perfect game for a cold, rainy night.

You start off with a cutscene. You and your team are in a ship and you're about to get launched to the ground to go hunt the Goliath. Each player has their own special abilities. For instance, one player can track the monster, while the other provides a shield for other players, or the reconnisaince-type hunter can shoot the Goliath with a dart that slows the Goliath down. A simple game of chasing the monster turns into a large scale hunt as each map is massive in its own right. From tall mountains to deep valleys, you can go anywhere, which makes the chase exhillerating!

Despite being in alpha, the only problems I've received so far has been severe lagg/frame drops. I can't be worried about that though, it's only alpha for pete's sake! This game can only get better. It can't get worse so far. If this was activision or DICE, I'd say otherwise. But 2K and Turtle Rock Studios know what they're doing and I have faith in them. So much faith that I plan to buy this game instead of drugs. Crazy right?

All in all, this game is what I need. It's a wonderful, open-world, suspenseful quest to kill a monster, another player! It's unheard of! 2k,Valve, and TRS, I will give you my money! Please do not dissapoint. I reccomend you buy this game when it is available. I look forward to hunting with you! Or hunting you ;)

What can I say about Dota 2? I mean it's apparent the game is a must have. Valve's greatest, competetive game. A game of momentum where you and four others fight a team of 5 with the choice of your hero. I won't go into that much about the game as it's pretty easy to find the mechanics of this F2P gem. You can spend hundreds of hours in this game just trying out different heroes and it never gets old. The music in the game is pretty cool, seeing as it's done by Valve's inhouse orchestra.

I must add, watch Free to Play. Free to Play is the documentary that follows professional Dota players who competed in the 2013 Dota Internationals. The docu is very inspiring and has a great film score. It was created by Valve and is free to watch and is a remarkable film.

Dota is love. Dota is life.

Insurgency. This game is what Medal of Honor's multiplayer should have been. This game is what you play when you want the competitiveness of Counter Strike but with more customization. The firefights that erupt are firefights similar to what you would see in the middle east. They take place from alley to alley. Rooftop to rooftop.

This game has no shortage of servers. You can instantly get into a full match with ease. The community is tolerable. I've met cool people who play very competetively, yet there is still the presence of screaming 12 year olds. I should add that most matches are just plain quiet, so you may not even have people with mics despite a few players who occasionally announce an enemy's location.

The work that went into Insurgency is remarkable. The landscape in the distance adds so much depth to the game. You feel like you're in Afghanistan fighting insurgents. If you have played Medal of Honor, or watched gameplay of MoH, then you can respect the artwork that goes into the landscape and the background.

The music is the game is not bad either. It's music that fits the setting. Nothing special, nothing bad. I do feel it's worth mentioning as I'm a fan of listening to the game's volume while keeping the natural music going on quitely in the background. The sound of the guns are authentic. The sound of the AK being shot is liberating itself.

Last, but certainly not least, would be the customization. You are given a fixed amount of credits. Every gets the same amount of course, and with that you get your armor, primary rifle, secondary pistol, and attatchments to your rifle. Grenades if needed, but I have no luck with those. 3 different scopes. 1 holographic site, grip, surpressor, flashlight, laser pointer, 3 different types of ammunition, including tracers. And what certainly beats it all is switching from fully automatic to semi. It's one of the many features that shows how the game is perfect if you want a realistic feel while playing the game.

With all that said, This game is a solid 10/10. I've had no problems with the servers, always able to get in and play. When I come across my frequent ban on CS:GO (Sorry but I will not stand for incompetent teammates), this game is what I need to tide my over. It is the goto game for realism in a FPS. It is truly what Medal of Honor's multiplayer should have been. I'd reccomend you get this game and it is always very cheap during the steam sales so make sure you buy it!

Been playing this game a lot lately. Started playing it when it first came out in beta. I kind of stopped playing becuase I moved onto steam-based games. This now transitioned to steam and I transitioned back to the game. So addicting after awhile. If you are looking for a game that requires a team to really help eachother out, then this is it.
