How did they make the Multiplayer, then screw up the CO-OP so badly.

- Didn't carry over my basic keybinds from the MP
- Didn't carry over graphics settings from MP
- Windows flickers like a MFer for some reason, regardless of graphics settings.
- Framerate is worse than MP
- AI is behind a wall shooting at .... well who knows.

No mouse inversion. It was there in beta and removed in full release.

Story is abit simple, but the gameplay is good.

Performance needs a LOT of work. could bearly hit 60fps at 1440p on a 5900X 3080 without Reoslution Scaling, with resolution scaling I was still seeing drops below my target of 72fps.

Combat is fine, its something you have to get used too, although the camera feels weid in places and targeting can be funky. The target lock indicator is also tiny and hard to see at times.

Let it cook.

Performance is still absolute dogwater.

1440p 5900X 3080, stuttering all over the shop. Using launch options to try and combat but nothing stops it.

No Ultrawide Support.

Selecting a resolution that's not native completely messes up the cursor render location compared to its actual location.

30 servers per region or something, for the most wish listed game on Steam.

The bait & switch into an extraction shooter was a bad move too.

Edit: Now I see they've removed the MMO and Open World tags from the game. Dont let them fool you, these reviews are still valid, as you probably know.

It just runs so poorly. Even with DLSS Balanced at 3440x1440 on a 5900X & 3080 I only just manage to hit 60FPS on High (DLSS Balanced), and barely hits 100FPS on Low (DLSS Performance) while the game looks absolutely terrible.

It has it's performance issue right now for some (I was able to mitigate it a bit with forcing Resizable Bar on in the Nvidia Driver).

Honestly though, the game looks great, the stories are good and I feel myself wanting to listen to the Voice Acting. Don't know why but I'm not getting bored doing the quests and the challenges in the world like I would with most other RPG / Open World games. Not being a huge HP fan I feel like Avalanche nailed the world feeling and look.

Combat is fluid, and the combos feel satisfying.

Menu animations needs to be tailored to PC, like pressing M to open the map, and not being able to press M to close it, and having to go through slow menu animations pressing escape to get back to gameplay.

No Ultrawide Support out of the box. Big yikes.

Don't bother even trying.

Download launcher > Wait 7 hours for the game to download in the launcher > boot up the game > fetching data > failed > fetching data > failed > fetching data > failed > fetching data > failed > fetching data > failed > fetching data > failed > close the game and never open it agian.
