Looks fantastic. Chaotic and entertaining gameplay. Love the maps; They all feel different enough, so that in the map rotation, you don't get bored.
I stumbled upon this more or less by accident, but it's really enjoyable. I've yet to find a full lobby of players, but it's still fun.

Absolutely nailed the aesthetic and atmosphere! Beautiful environments.

Gameplay however, felt a little lackluster. Felt more like running laps, without much to differentiate runs. The power-ups you can pick up doesn't really feel all that impactful. I did enjoy the combat, but both you and your enemies biggest weakness are walls and stairs. It does become repetitive quite fast and if I had died on that last stretch of the game, I'm not sure I would have bothered to finish it at all.

I can't help but think that a more adventure-action-RPG type of game would have suited a Hellboy game better, rather than a beautiful, albeit weak rogue-like game. But I would like to see more; Be it DLC or a sequel.

TLDR; If you find the atmosphere and aesthetic appealing, I'd say to give it a shot, but expect gameplay to be repetitive.

If Doom and Guitar Hero had a Roguelike game-baby. Took a little while to get used to shooting/clicking to a rhythm, while strafing, reloading and jumping; But it's really satisfying when you get the hang of it. Works great as a roguelike as well, since each run is a little bit different, but the core mechanics stay the same, which keeps it challenging and feels rewarding as you get better at it. The music is good. The esthetics might not be to everyones taste, but it fits the game imo

Twitchy minimalistic survival shooter, reminiscent of Quake.

The coolest aesthetic I've seen in forever. Maybe the coolest looking game I think I've ever played; Gritty pixelated textures, eerie and evil-looking enemies, but it feels so incredibly smooth. Nostalgic, yet modern.

Pick up that dagger and start shooting

I think this game holds much potential. It feels smooth and responsive. The jumping mechanic feels familiar to anyone who has played games like tf2; Where you can rocket-jump by shooting at your feet, or dashing mid-air. If you then mix that with the twitchyness of Quake, give it a flashy ps1-polygon aestethic and add a bow and arrow, you kind of got this game; Which is really cool!

However, I've only had like 2-3 matches in my 1.7 hours of playing, and you can't even explore the maps without any other players, so if you don't have any to play with, you basically only got the training grounds. Maybe it could be fixed by making waiting for a match more exciting or atleast let you explore the map you're about to play, so you're not only stuck in a lobby. Or giving you some sort of incentive to wait for a match

I really want to play more of this game because it holds the potential to be really enjoyable, so I do hope more players come around!
