I'm trying really hard to like this game. But it's tiresome. It's a watered down battlefield. After Battlefield 4, 1, and 5, they kept adding cool new things and made innovations in each title. 2042? No they stripped back the things that made the previous titles good. I think they were so concerned about having some battle-royale tacked on, they forgot what made previous Battlefields good.

It has potential to bounce back, I just don't think EA/DICE will make it happen. They seem too stuck on their path, they refuse to alter the games trajectory.

Try it on sale or for a free weekend. I don't recommend buying it at all full price at all. It's not worth it.
