Unspoken words and fears concealed,
In the quiet chambers, they're sealed.
Will I ever find the courage to reveal,
Or shall they remain hidden, never to heal?

Amidst the night's silence, a battle unfolds,
Between hidden truths and stories untold.
A heart in turmoil, seeking its way,
Awaiting the dawn of a brighter day.


Am I a burden you quietly bear,
Or do you love, truly, with tender care?
The questions swirl, they tear apart,
Leaving echoes in my aching heart.

Is your silence a comfort, or a curse?
In its embrace, I feel the worst,
For in the quiet, doubts arise,
And feed the fears I can't disguise.

I long to trust, to feel secure,
But wounds of past make hope unsure,
And though I stand beside you near,
I tremble with this constant fear.

How shall I endeavor to return,
After such a wretched failure I discern?

They may discern my trepidation near,
As I quell emotions, holding back a tear.


In shades of sorrow, my soul does dwell,
A melancholy symphony weaves its spell,
Like whispers of the wind through forest glen,
A plaintive tune that haunts, again and again.

A tear-stained sky with clouds of gray,
Reflects the ache that won't betray,
And in the depths of my heart's abyss,
Lies a sorrowful longing I can't dismiss.

As stars above, with distant light,
Glimmer through the velvet night,
So too, my dreams, they softly fade,
In sorrow's arms, they find their shade.
