Good game, good developers.
Probably the most complex "city-builder" on steam, I say "city-builder" but it is more like a small country builder, because you will be building multiple cities all for different purposes to create a full production chain.

I will be listing a few of the areas to take note of in this game, keep in my i have only played a total of about 2 hours.
The first hour was played on a 5800x and an RTX 2080, even at low settings i was only getting like 30 FPS, would not consider that playable. The second hour was played on a 4070ti which gave me 60 FPS on high settings MOST of the time, but with stuttering being common, somewhat playable.

Graphics:
Probably the only largely changed area in this game, looks absolutely amazing and i find myself just wandering around looking at the dinosaurs for the fun of it. Although this graphics, together with no optimization creates quite the performance issue as i mentioned by almost every single player. And no, the low settings in this does NOT look like the original ark graphics as some seem to claim, still looks far better than the original.

Crashes:
These are common, and they do NOT save your progress in the world, only character leveling. The game, unlike the original, does however have a dedicated save button which is useful for at least not losing all your progress every time it crashes, which is a lot.

Building system:
This, I believe, is the only really re-made system, which is also one of my favorite changes to this game. Snapping feels smooth and nice, new building models looks much better, and the new sizes for walls although a small change does alot in my opinion.

Every other system:
Same from ark, unfortunately, I would have wished that they had remade the dino AI to fit the more realistic graphics but unfortunately they are still as bad as the original ark.
This also means that most bugs have been ported with it, I have however not been able to test the game for long enough to confirm this more than some not that important bugs such as flying dinos hitboxes being ♥♥♥♥♥♥ when killed.

Hopes:
I still feel moderately hopeful for this game, so i may update this review at a later date. Since the game is in early access they still have time to actually fix the game, performance i have strong expectations that will be fixed since that will directly impact sales and refunds if people cant play the game, as for the other issues such as most of the code just being ported, Wildcard and Snail Games have a great opportunity here to make an actually good game, they have a completely new game with already some stuff re-made, and currently, with the original still existing i doubt people would get mad if they changed or remade some more in-game systems and mechanics.

In conclusion:
I would not recommend the game, to anyone, in the current state. Performance is playable if you are fine with manually saving every 5 minutes and crashing multiple times an hour on 60 FPS max, and of course the common graphical stuttering. Game feels like a scam in its current state but we can only hope for the best,

Wildcard and Snail Games has the opportunity, now we'll just have to wait and see if they grab it.

Great graphics that fits great into the theme of the game perfectly. The graphics is one of the strong sides of the game

It is a story game. The story is essentially the main reason as to why you would buy the game in the first place. Personaly i love the story and how it plays out

At 20€, I would say the price is perfect for the amount of time it would take to finish and the experience

As long as your not playing on the highest settings it will run perfectly, like most ported console games it is heavily optimized and runs great

Took me 14 hours to finish one story path. You could replay it in different ways and get out 30-40 hours from the game

The game is essentially an interactive movie, pretty repetitive gameplay but honestly its still a great experience

In my opinion, it would be a yes. But again the game is pretty much an interactive movie, so it wont be for everyone, so before you buy it research some about the story and maybe watch one or two video reviews

There is not as much explaination as to how things work as i would have wanted in a game like this. I myself have read about the game since 2 years back when it was first announced on the Wiki and watched videos published by the devs, and i still had to get alot of help figuring things out by the community (Very nice community). But i do believe they have some updates planned to help make it easier

I would put it somewhere between Good and Great, closer to Great. The game has very well made graphics for the game it is, however it is not super realistic in any way, more of a little low poly feeling sometimes, still looks very nice. However as it is currently in EA there is alot of unloaded meshes that u will be seeing until they up the optimizations of the game

This game has some very very good and fitting music which really helps capture the size of the game, alot of different soundtracks aswell. Not much more to say

This is if u like the concept and u are ready to face ALOT of bugs before they are patched, the price is not 100% perfect, could be a few euros cheaper for EA

People have reported to have been able to play the game decently at 60fps with a GTX 1060, although if u wish to play on higher settings u will need a better GPU, i would say maybe 1080+, and ALOT of RAM, 32GB i would recommend for high settings, as the game can easily chew up 20GB of RAM on my system

There is content being added fast at the moment and there is ALOT of possibilities, i dont see why u wouldnt be able to get thousands of hours out of it if u enjoy the game.

There is alot of repetition, at the current stage, but as i said before, alot of content is being added fast, so this should improve drasticly within the comming months.

This is my very personal opinion as i have been waiting for this game for 2 Years now, it is VERY buggy, but if u dont mind losing maybe 20% of ur progress on average due to bugs it is worth a buy. If u think u can handle it but turns out u wanna jump from a 20 story building after 3 hours of buggy gameplay, u can always come back after a few weeks/months to check it out again and check how many bugs have been patched, as it is a one time purchase and not a subscription. It is truly a unique game

Great game, can be a little too repetetive gameplay at some points though, but overall worth buying, has a great story.

Took 25 hours for my first round of the game, however it is highly replayable as it is a very very good game.

Its half-life, what can i say except its one of the best games ive played and i absolutly love it, only game to surpass it is Half-Life 2
