I will not cover single-player experience as i bought this to play multi-player. As for the co-op part, they really missed out on something that could've been a great co-operative experience - but it's not.

First off if you want to create a multi-player game, there's a forced tutorial first which takes a couple of annoying and boring hours that you have to do alone. One could imagine it's to make it impossible to get the game refunded before you realize its multi-player experience is bad.

Secondly in co-op, you mostly do everything turn based, no co-operation is actually needed except for digging. You need gravel? Just push the "Fill with gravel"-button, no need to go anywhere to fetch it. And if you happen to need to go somewhere - just teleport! There's just no co-operation needed. It would have been awesome if you actually needed to go fetch the gravel while the other person is working on the site.

And then we have the reset-button, which easily can be abused to make it easier to work, instead of moving around you just press backspace and immediately gets teleported outside of the working space and can dump whatever you want there.

As a last thing, sometimes multi-player is buggy and you can't join your friends game, and even if you happen to be able to join it you might be out of sync which doesn't seem to disappear even if all players restart the game.
