It's a pretty good game to play while waiting for something.

Nice characters, nice music, nice visuals...

The story is pretty good too, if only a bit unfinished...

AfterTime is a platform game, where the player's objective is to get to the end of the level; the level exit is, however, locked by a 'time gate' of sorts, and the player has to have enough time left to go to the next level. The player also loses and gets time by getting hurt and collecting souls, respectively.

While you may get the illusion of a (somewhat) stable game on the first few levels, soon you'll notice that the game's heavily unfinished, as latter levels have no music and the 'time' stops counting down each second.

The game's graphics are basic and repetitive, though arguably the best part of the game (which is saying something); the level design is terrible, with some of the latter levels being borderline impossible, and the last 'level' (supposed to be a boss, going by the dialogue) just spawns the player above a bottomless pit, with no platforms in sight; the music is... okay, but it would probably get repetitive if it didn't just stop on latter levels.

Overall, it feels like the developer just gave up after about 5 levels, with an ironically really slow pacing and bad positioning of the game elements. I wouldn't recommend this game even if it was free.

Goro is a game where you play as a small square, its mission being to get to the top opening on the screen, making sure not to touch the red squares in the way. It becomes harder the more you progress through the game, with new features being introduced in the way. The game's graphics are very simple, based around coloured square shapes and the game's only text font. The music is simple as well, adding instruments as you progress in the game.

While the game fulfills its promise of being "easy to learn, but [...] challenging", it's pretty short, having only 12 levels, which an experienced player could ace through in less than 30 minutes. Furthermore, the rest of the game's aspects are lacking, with the menus frankly being hard to understand at first glance, the game's icon still being the default for Construct 2 games, the death animation taking a bit too much time, etc.

The game has 36 achievements (as of the time of this review), despite there only being 12 levels; because of this, there are many instances where many achievements get unlocked at around the same time (some literally under the same circumstances), and some being unlocked by simple actions, such as "Go[ing] Right" or "Start[ing the] Game".

Overall, the game's only a bit too simple (even for a $1 game), with its difficulty being the biggest factor that builds gameplay time. I personally wouldn't call it a 'casual game', as the difficulty makes it hard for me to keep playing, and even if I did, it'd end rather soon.
