If you like exploring and base building, this is your game.

Despite it's age, this game holds up and is enjoyable over and over again.

This game has promise but it seriously needs a tutorial for new players. There are some game play mechanics that need to be worked out. Like why can't I use an axe to damage the shark? There's bamboo on the islands but you can't harvest it? That should be an alternative building material you could grow. The UI could use a few tweaks too. I'm running the game at 1920x1200 and there are many times where the inventory window is obscured by the left menu elements.

At first glance it looks really cool. I'm a huge fan of how customizable it appears to be. Unfortunately there doesn't appear to be a LAN mode or a way to group friends. A note to the devs: not only would I like to see a way of playing with friends only but, I think a few different modes would be cool. A capture the flag or king of the hill would be interesting. Also, maybe a death race style course. This game definitely has potential and I'll be keeping an eye out for how it progresses.

A very welcome update to the original game. Higher resolution, better frame rates, and tons of other graphic tweaks.

This game is very underrated. The story, graphics, and game play are very well done.

So far, I feel the game still has alot of work that needs to be done. I personally would like the key bindings reworked to make them more user friendly. Also, there should be an easier way of stashing items. I should be able to craft a crate, place stuff in it and leave it some where. Or, if I find a box/crate/refrigerator/etc... I should be able to load it up. It would also be nice to be able to pick items up and move them around in the world. For example, you see something on the floor of a house. I should be able to pick it up and put it on the table or counter. Something akin to how Fallout 4 does it.

Watching the teaser trailers and seeing all the awesome screenshots made me really want to play this. Unfortunately, I did... graphically this game is great, the voice acting is top notch, and the UI/UX is pretty good. However, the gameplay is laggy as all hell and just doesn't feel right. Also, I really wasn't expecting a turn/wave based strategy game when jumping into this. I thought it was going to be an open world RPG/Adventure style game.

Sadly disappointed in this game. I am a big fan of the Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver series and ever though this game does the series justice graphically it fails entirely in game play mechanics. It's yet another third person shooter which everyone knows I hate. For those who don't know the Soul Reaver games have been true third person prospective games like the new Batman and Zelda games.

Just from the extremely brief experience of playing tonight I feel the designers are top notch and really nailed the look and feel.
