I sat on a Bing search result telling me that the launcher could not be found for seven minutes just to tell you not to play this game. If they can't get the damn launcher to work right, the game can't be much better.

Edit (3/7/14): They say a picture is worth a thousand words: http://i.imgur.com/TSfHp2G.png

Less of a game, and more of a game platform, Garry's Mod offers a wide variety of different game modes to try: just be aware that Sturgeon's Revelation (90% of everything is crap) is in full effect.

Also keep in mind that most of the modes in Garry's Mod require other Source games to work properly (usually Counter Strike: Source and Half-Life 2).

My experience with Dark Souls has been that of someone who has heard people singing the praises of the title for a good year before buying it myself, as I, until recently, did not own a gaming controller. Let's just say that I'm very glad that I made both purchases. Praise the sun.

This game used to only work under Games for Windows Live, but since I first reviewed DaS over a year ago, GFWL has been completely replaced by Steamworks. Wholeheartedly recommended for any fan of action RPGs. Just remember that "prepare to die" isn't just a tagline - it's an ultimatum.

Đánh giá CS:GO
Well, it certainly is global, and I'm certainly offended by it!

All jokes assike, CS:GO is not a game for those who don't possess lightning-fast reflexes and the patience to keep up with the convoluted metagame (I certainly don't posses reflexes, and I already follow three convoluted metagames). Still, CS:GO has come a long way since its shaky release. If you're a Counter-Strike vet from back in the day... you probably already own CS:GO, and nothing I say is going to matter to you at this point. Oh well.

For the hardcore shooter crowd, $15 is probably fine. For others, you might want to wait for a sale.

While appearing to be a food service simulator, Cook, Serve, Delicious feels more like a mini-game compilation in the vein of WarioWare. You are in charge of single-handed running the busiest restaurant in the world, and are expected to prepare and serve each meal promptly and to order. This is simple with cheaper dishes such as corn dogs and fish filet; however, as the game progresses, and you are asked to prepare more complicated meals, the pace mounts exponentially. Balancing your menu not only involved making sure you don't serve the same thing too often: it also involves balancing your menu so that you don't serve too many difficult dishes at once. For those not satisfied with the normal progression, random bets and Steam challenges are here to give you the opportunity to grab extra bragging rights.

Honestly, CSD is one of the best cooking games I've played, and it's definitely worth the full $10.

Jagex's mishandled attempt at a first person shooter with Minecraft shoehorned in. An incredibly unbalanced and generally aggrivating attempt at marrying shooting and building. The original beta version is still available for free under the moniver "Build & Shoot", which hilariously boasts a better player count than this $15 outing.

Not worth it at half the price. Avoid.

AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! is a game about base-jumping and high-score chasing. Each of the game's levels start with you falling off a building suspended in mid-air, and plummeting to the ground below, smashing glass plates and skirting close to skyscrapers and other mid-air debris for "kisses" and "hugs", which translate into more points at the end of the level. If you crash, you're forced to start over from the beginning of the jump (or more rarely, a mid-level checkpoint). As you progress through the game, you're presented with more ways to score points, from waving to fans/flipping off angry protesters to marking anti-establishment graffiti on marked buildings. Once you reach the colored landing markers near the bottom of the level, you activate your propeller wings and land safely, hopefully langing in designated zones for yet more bonus points. All this is presented alongside odd, dystopian-flavored humor in the form of 'radio broadcasts' heard on the stage select screen. Aaaaa! For The Awesome, in addition to content from original title, also ships with additional levels where your character falls at twice the rate, for added challenge.

At the current asking price of $10, this game is definitely worth it if you ever enjoyed seeing how far you could fall without dying in World of Warcraft or similar, and wanted to compete with complete strangers on a coreboard to see who could do it the best. Even if you didn't want to do the latter part, it's still worth a run. Or, indeed, a jump.

Arcen Games makes a variety of games with interesting, niche gameplay, and Bionic Dues is no exception. If you're looking for a little bit of turn-based strategy in your Rogue-like RPG, Bionic Dues will fill that need. Just keep in mind that the game can be very convoluted in the way it presents your goals: your ultimate goal is to upgrade and survive for a pre-determined number of turns before the machines make their final assault on your base. The missions you engage in will determine how strong (or weak) the robot horde is when the final defense occurs. The game can be cleared in a few hours on normal difficulty; the real challenge comes from the harder modes and playing with different loadouts of robotic exos and commander units. The asking price of $10 is more than fair for a game with this level of replayability, so long as you're willing to put in the time to learn the nuance of the rules at play. Even if you aren't, consider buying Bionic Dues on sale if you enjoy more traditional Rogue-like titles.
