Tbh, I was excited to play Eiyuden Chronicles : Hundred Heroes because of nostalgia from Suikoden I and II. But when I played it myself, I was getting immersed within the game in no time. The story, the musics, the scenes, the characters, the quests, and much more. I'm thankful for everything I have played, it makes my innerchild happy once again in the tough times..

Like other reviews, I'll say this one more time, it's a horror (kinda? Just for the story tho. Oh. and the night in chapter 1.) visual novel-type, so don't expect for really great combat etc. :D

To be honest, I haven't finished the whole game, but after playing for half of the story, I'll say it's pretty good. the characters have great personality, although sometimes felt like... forced to be included to the story. If you're the feeling-kind of player, you will love some characters, and hate the others, while also neutral to the rest. I also like that some can *redacted* and *redacted*.

This game have multiple endings by your choices (will be explained futher in the game), I suggest you to play through all of them if you like. And note this down, you can try the other endings by playing through new game+.

Sadly, some of us can't use controller, we need mod to do so, and note this, when I try to use one, I can't use my previous save file, forced to playthrough from the beginning, and then can't get any achievement. You can enable this again by reinstalling the game, but since I play "using" mod, when I reinstalled it, it give me the previous save data before I use the mod, so.... dammit!

Overall, I like the game. It's kinda cringe and good from the story perspective, and the combat is pretty simple, while also annoying (damn those chest that need you to turnaround). I'm giving it 7/10.

P. S. I recommend to you who want to buy DLCs, just do it when they're on sale. They're kinda expensive for just some addition that's not game or story changer. :/
