No amount of troubleshooting will get the game running after whatever update happened. The game does not run. Don't buy.

A Harvest Moon homage made with extreme care by a Harvest Moon fan.

Better than anything you could possibly imagine one guy could do.
AAA studios WISH they could put out something half this good.

Grow crops, sell crops, make friends, make a family, ignore that family to grow and sell crops.
It's the farmer's paradise.

Kickstarted this game, not disappointed. Devs very communicative the entire time and provided surprise alpha build.
Game is a blast, micromanaging 911 responses and crime scene investigations while selling your soul for the almighty dollar, to the mob, mayor, and yourself.

Good voice acting in a heavily narrative driven game is also a plus. Guy nails the sound of "gritty, tired police detective."

Basically, devs accomplished what they set out to do from day 1, and published a fun, complete game. I appreciate that - they didn't shove it out in the alpha build and never updated it again. Instead, I look at my downloads today and find ANOTHER free update with new content.

Recommended.

Fantastic hand-drawn artstyle. Original orchestral soundtrack. Witty-ass dialouge.
Make Charlie Kelley proud and get your bird law on in this very good and original Ace Attorney-inspired sendup.

Charlie Kelly: And I'll take that advise under cooperation, alright? Now, let's say you and I go toe-to-toe on bird law and see who comes out the victor?

The Attorney: You know, I don't think I'm going to do anything close to that and I can clearly see you know nothing about the law. Seems like you have a tenuous grasp on the English language in general.

Charlie Kelly: [more mumbling] ... Filibuster...

The Attorney: Do you know what that word means?

What a waste of a franchise license. The writing is abysmal, and waiting for the episodes to come out made the horrible cliffhanger ending that much worse. The "illusion of choice" problem which Telltale always comes across is just a big fat ♥♥♥♥ hitting you in the face this game. Nothing you choose matters remotely.

Don't bother with this garbage. Go buy Life is Strange. Until Telltale gets its ♥♥♥♥ together more consistently (and updates their godawful engine that they've had for like 5 years) I have no intention of buying another one of their games.

One of the few games I've ever bought twice - once on the Xbox 360 when it came out, and again last week when it was on sale here. Worth every penny - a genuinely fun racing game with well-integrated mechanics and fun secrets to get you invested in a big open world environment.

It's cheap enough now to be a 'must buy'.'
