Let me start by saying that I read ALL of the other reviews for this game and honestly didn't understand a lot of them. I had a GREAT time in this game and didn't understand how many of these other folks had such a bad time. Some of the people complained about having a fountain right in the middle of the town that they put money into- like that's your fault. How can you possibly believe that it is the game's fault that you threw your money away? How about rying to be more fiscally responsable? Other people talked about how they thought the tools didn't look like the right tools? What a small petty complaint. I fully believe that these people are nit-picking, and are actively seeking out the few things that are "wrong" about the game. Personally, I find these traits charming, but I suppose to each their own. Clearly these folks have spent a LONG time searching for flaws in this game, because let me tell you, they are damn hard to find.

Lets start with the Graphics. I think this is an appropriate place to beginning because they are the first part of the game that most people notice. They are also the easiest to analyze. The graphics are pretty good for the game you are getting. Right when you load in you notice that the game looks charming and cozy. It feels good and makes you WANT to dive right in. That being said, I have definitely seen better, but this is a new game and I fully expect that they will improve in the coming months. Give the developers a little time and I am sure the game will be leaps and bounds better than it is right now. The buildings are already there in terms of quality, very clean looking and filled with detail. I think that the water and the ground textures are the areas that need the most work. The ground is basically all one color with another color representing the paths and the water. This is understandable because you can tell that a lot of work into the other parts of the game, the water, path, and grass textures must have been pushed to the side in order to be able to work on the more game-changing parts. The crops and the animals are realistic, the cows look like cow, the chickens like chickens, and so on. They are all very cute and nice to look at. The characters that occupy the town are also charming and look quite nice in my opinion. 9/10

Game play is the next obvious choice for this review. I will be completely honest upfront, the game play is absolutely amazing. It is fun and it runs like an absolute dream. If god were to make a game here on earth, this would be it, there is no doubt in my mind. All joking aside, the controls took a mere moment to understand, but once realized became like second nature to me. Running around, picking up chickens, putting down chickens, donating to the poor, stealing from the rich, these are but a few of the things that are possible in this game. Right off the bat I invested in property and started a small farm. I will admit that I have had some exposure to farming in real life, and therefor may have had a leg-up on some of the competition, but not by much as the planting and harvesting of crops is, while realistic, quite intuitive, and the other friends who I was with managed to grasp and understand the mechanics quickly. There are several farms you can choose from in the game, and they range from small to large. With varying prices attached to each based on the size and quality of the farm. I bought the only farm I could afford, the smallest one and I immediately started tilling and planting the small field that my new property contained. Even the smallest, most tedious tasked were made fun by this game. I enjoyed hoeing the dirt. I enjoyed planting the seeds. I enjoyed watering the crops. Every aspect of the game was a fun experience that never got old. The game has a fun feature where you can sleep over at the stores if you stay after hours. I thought this was truly ground breaking and was fun to get trapped in a store with my friends. There is nothing like spending the night in a seed store. I do wish that there were some more shops in town, there are currently five or six. They could maybe add some houses too. The town feels a little empty and although there are plenty of animals to be found in the streets, there are few to no people. There are plenty of women to kidnap, but it would be fun if there was other things to grab, like furniture or plants. You could bring these back to your house and use them to spruce it up. Currently the only things that you can pick up and bring back to your house are women from around town or animals you find roaming the world. Buying things for your house would be a fun feature that could be added as well, you can make a lot of money in the game, but there is really not very much to buy after a certain point. Overall the gameplay is very good and perfectly enjoyable, but there are a few things that I think would be a cool addition to the game. Because of all the good in the gameplay I give it a 10/10

Finally I wish to discuss the multiplayer features of the game, which are some of the best times I have had online in a while. I truly believe that this is the way to pIay the game- with friends, having a wild good time.I want to make it known that I was playing with 3 other friends, so our experience may have been different than yours will be since we were such a large crew. I LOVE that this game basically takes what stardew valley was, and actually improves upon the formula, something I didn't think possible until I played this game. It adds multiplayer, as well as some basis pvp options that really spice up the game play and make the experience truly unique. For example me and one of my friends raided another friends base and stole all his crops. I had my fields destroyed at some point later too. And although these weren't all profitable situations, they were all a lot of fun. You can tackle people, something that few games have, and steal their stuff. This is a really interesting feature and lead to a lot of WACKY situations between me and my companions. The game also has a great system of each store having a limited global stock of goods, meaning that if one person buys all of the carrots from the store, everyone else in the game will be unable to purchase them and have to find some, or stealing them from the person who is monopolizing them. 11/10

One of my only complaints about this game is that it gives you stat buffs for paying. This is a little silly and makes it unfair for those who do not want to spent the $5 to increase speed and other stats, etc. One of my friends bought it and it was kinda lame ngl.

Overall this game is super good and addicting. The gameplay is fun and very enjoyable. The graphics are good, and for the most part, very pleasing. The mulitplayer is the best part of the game and it becomes much more enjoyable when you are playing with your friends. I recommend that you grab a few of your buds, and hop on this game for a exciting time. I promise you will not regret it!
