Once getting familiar with programming it, it is very managable to use. I play games such as TF2, Cuphead, Garry's Mod, Left 4 Dead etc. with the controller and it seems to function with no problem for me. You could type and use it for when you're on the internet, but for typing, it would be more perferable with a keyboard. It's like the touch pad on the PS4 controller. The greatest thing about it is that not only are you able to program and customizethe controlls positions, but also the sensitivity and play styles. Though most people have a hard time playing games such as TF2 or CSGO with any controller, I find the Steam controller to be quite adaptable over time. The most noted downside of this controller, the persicion may be harder when compared to a gaming mouse, but it's still very managable. Though, I'd say, this controller is definately PERFECT for 2-D games. There a lot of forums and pre-made sets for games that have already been made for different abaptabilities for each game. This controller is definately worth the $50. I've had mine for 2 years now, still love it.

I may not be one of those guys whose into those Xbox shooting games such as, Call of Duty, Modern Warfare, Halo, etc. But TF2 is an awesome game that has extended the variety to what many of those other games provide. It has shown itself than more than just a killing game, it is a game that has humor, style, colorful characters and more. With nine main characters total (three offensive, three defensive and three supportive), there is a lot of variety and different ways of playing and stratigizing. All nine characters are unique in their very own way and they each have potential in mastering the field in their own way. It's proven that someone in any class can be the pure dominator of the game; but it takes a lot of speed, skill, and experience to get to that point. If TF2 is known for one thing, it would definatly be for its fair gameplay. In TF2, anythings possible. Even people who are pure newbies and have never heard of TF2 could possibly become potenial underdogs on the battlefield. Players have a lot of variety, not with just the characters they choose to play as, but with the weapons and cosmetics they choose for the characters. It's unlockable by achievement, buying them, or by a random drop rate. There's many ways to be good at TF2, so if you are new to playing battle games, this would be a great game for you. And if you're someone who loves fighting battle games with a sense of humor, I would deeply suggest this game.
