An amazing game that blends base building, exploration, colony management and survival into a neat, sci-fi package.

If you're looking for a gripping story with some twists and turns, The Alters is a good place to start.

Enlisted, for me personally, is hard to recommend.
For a WW2 shooter, it's alright. But, the developers don't care too much about their community unless it finds something that publicly embarasses them.
Caution: Text wall below.

TLDR:
- Hilariously bad English translations (Hilarious, right?)
- Free content removed
- No Oceania servers (Australia & Asia don't exist!!!)
- Poor balance (It's possible to fight people 2 BRs above you!)
- Faction Stacking (Majority of 'sweaty' players play Germany or Japan)
- Fun not allowed. (You *will* suffer.)

Rant time!

As of recently, it's following in the footsteps of War Thunder.

It locks better, cooler gear behind paywalls.
The events are *extremely* short or tedious.
It has even butchered its own battlepass model in a way identical to Gaijin's own War Thunder. I am not even beating around the bush here. Gaijin(tm) at its finest.

Let me elaborate:
Before, Battlepasses used to have unique, standalone vehicles or skins, as well as up to three different and unique weapons.

There used to be a currency called "Golden Orders" which were used to obtain rare weapons, tanks and soldiers. (Remember when Golden Wagers were a thing? Yep, they're doing it here too.)
You could earn this currency simply by logging on, completing achievements or as rewards from events.
The Golden Orders could be used in a special store section, allowing you to pick *whatever* weapon, vehicle or soldier you wanted, provided you had the Gold Order to redeem it.

That currency has since been removed. Now, battlepasses have only one vehicle camouflage and ONE unique weapon. Gold Orders were also removed.

Now, the only way to obtain any of the previous unique items is when the "Silver Chest" is temporarily added to the store. This chest costs 5k Silver, about 5+ matches worth, IF you perform very well.
Sound familiar? Yep. It's the exact same thing they do in War Thunder.

It's gambling. Gaijin is promoting gambling. You might be fine with gambling. Good on you. But for some, gambling is an actual addiction. The EU passed a law some time ago regarding gambling mechanics.
Gaijin thinks they're exempt from it. They are not.

They have employed a similar model in other games they have "published", I would know because I have played most of them. Gaijin is no different a publisher than EA in terms of ethics. They are simply looked over for being a non-american company.

Monopoly cash-grabbing aside, Enlisted CAN be a great game, at times.
Despite whatever the game tells you, it is possible to fight people with gear two tiers above you.
Enlisted plays like a clunky F2P shooter, it has it's charm.
However, Enlisted is by no means a battlefield, but you can tell that it tries to be.

After RETO-MOTO shut down their titular Heroes & Generals, they left open a void.
Enlisted fills parts of that void, but not completely.

Unfinished, buggy and poorly optimised mess.
Developers can't decide on content and keep completely changing *everything*.
They've removed systems and content that made the game unique and enjoyable for 'simplicity'.
For example. there used to be:
- Hundreds of clothing items, as well as five clothing slots (pants, shirt, shoes, hat, gloves)
- A clothing-to-biome specific temperature system.
- Perks that level similarly in a way to Skyrim.
- Ability to use reuse/refill fluid containers.

They might as well make it a turn-based, microtransaction ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at this point.
This game was once a passion project, but now it's just become a bad memory.

A game with a poorly written story that makes no sense, wacky voice acting and heaps of models from the asset-store.

Just... Don't waste your money on it. Unless it's 5$.

A great game whose replayability became its downfall.
With friends, GTFO can be a fun experience. However, everyone will have to fork out a small portion of their wallet for a game that expects to always have friends at the ready.

The matchmaking is basically just a mess and the "single player" is straight up unplayable beyond level 3.
There is very little incentive for replaying levels besides "boosters" which even then, are only fleeting and not worth the grind.
Cosmetics are earned through first completion of a level, and only ever earned by such. This plays into the incentive I was talking about.
The weapons, which have a respectable amount of variants and weapon types to pick from, have no customizability unless you edit an text file. Sounds like it was almost a feature?

Overall, GTFO CAN be a fun experience. But you WILL need friends at the ready, for it to be so.

Russians are red.
The British is blue.
War Thunder sucks.
It's quite true.
The game with bias.
That is always denied.
Please Gaijin, just fire your crew.
And stop flinging all this pie.
It's a good game.
But more of a shame.
Because it's hard to find a fair game.
Because the matchmaking's lame.
That's just a shame.
But make no mistake.
The realism is fake.
Gaijin isn't however.
They troll whenever.
Closing statements meaning true.
And banning users through and through.
Dear Gaijin,
No one likes you.
You use an Australian,
To do the moderation.
That quite depressing,
Very much upsetting.
You're lower than the Titanic,
You're getting quite frantic.
Just don't add boats,
Because you've already sunk.
