I was a 19 year-old little punk about 3 decades back, introduced to this song by my cousin. I was just hanging out in my room unaware of what was about to hit me; the solo at 1:00 smashed in to my mind and changed me! I have this clear memory of the moment and my jaw dropping, then playing it over and over for a very long time before continuing playing the remaining songs on Fresh Fruit. To this day I still can't fathom how anyone can come up with such a melody with an accompaniment and sound like that, and it still leaves me breathless with goose bumps and my passionate punk soul on fire!
