Been playing Warframe for quite some time now, and I consider it one of the few games that I hold dear to my heart, I only wish for it to further grow and develop.
First off, Warframe is a veeeery grindy game, so of course if you don't like grind you'll hate warframe. That being said, if you can take the grind, let me tell you this is a game that's very easy to get invested in, quite addictive even.
Second off, this game is pretty much entirely F2P, the only things that you can only get by paying money are the community created skins and some Prime accesories. But everything else? You can get by playing, farming, and trading, hell, there's quite a few things that you can ONLY get by playing. BUT I can also safely say that Warframe is one of the very few games I've played that are worth spending money on if you want.
Third off, warframe doesn't shy away from being a deep and complex game, it doesn't dumb down its stuff, there are tons of systems and mechanics and ♥♥♥♥ to learn that even at over 100 hours of playing you'll still be learning your way around, and there's a lot of players that'll appreciate that because they're sick of seeing games being dumbed down and being too easy to learn, it doesn't insult the player's intelligence.
Last off, it's not a competitive game, there IS pvp tho, but it's totally not the focus of the game and pretty much the entire community doesn't care about it, so this might be a turn off for those who come from competitive games and aim to become the very best that ever was and curb-stomp other players. Warframe is a co-op game at its core and its community reflects this amazingly, I have never come across such a loving and helping community as the one Warframe has, and this is due to the fact that everyone that has played Warframe and got hooked into it wants to see it succeed and grow further on, because they see the love and care that's been poured into this game.

All I can say is: if you don't mind the grind or the lack of competitiveness, and you like looters and customizing all of your stuff and feeling like a space ninja god that can kill hundreds of enemies, you should try out warframe
