You can really feel the amount of work and dedication that went into creating this game it's a cut above most others in any game of any genre. It's an incredible RPG with memorable characters, top-tier voice acting, and, perhaps most impressively, an incredible sense of freedom. From the start, the game felt polished, but since its launch, it’s received numerous meaningful updates, adding even more depth to an already well-crafted experience.

What stands out is the sheer volume of content and possibilities. One playthrough is nowhere near enough to experience everything this game has to offer. Given the current state of gaming, I honestly can't think of any significant improvements, aside from the main story, which is tricky in itself. That's because the game allows for so many branching outcomes based on the countless choices you make along the way, starting as early as your decision about your character’s race. The depth and variety make every decision feel impactful, ensuring that each playthrough can be unique.

I’ve completed two full playthroughs so far, and each has been an entirely different and equally captivating experience. On my first run, it took me over 50 hours just to complete Act I. This style of turn-based RPG was completely new to me, so I took my time and quickly fell in love with the game. Without ever consulting guides or walkthroughs, I tried to explore every bit of content I could as a Sorcerer Drow. By the time I reached Act III, the sheer number of quests and places to visit became a bit overwhelming. The game consumed my thoughts so much that I even started dreaming about completing quests at night!

At that point, I felt the need to take a break for a few weeks. Without a clear quest list or roadmap, it was hard to keep track of everything, and I didn’t want to miss a single thing. The break helped though when I returned to the game, it was more fun than ever, and I finally completed it. The entire journey was one of the most satisfying I’ve had in gaming.

My second playthrough wasn’t far behind, but this time I wasn’t alone I played alongside two friends, and I switched things up by choosing a Paladin/Fighter. This character was a tall, buff powerhouse, and by the endgame, with the right skill tree and unique items, he became almost unstoppable, capable of taking down hordes of enemies single-handedly.

Initially, I worried that knowing the quests and their outcomes would make this second run feel predictable or repetitive, but playing with friends who had similar knowledge made it an entirely different experience. The synergy, teamwork, and shared excitement made it just as enjoyable, if not more so, than my solo journey. The game feels fresh every time, no matter how well you think you know it.
