this is just such a pleasant farm sim. There are great quality of life improvements over other farming games, like being able to buy from shops 24/7, having villagers marked on the map, and being able to craft using materials in chests. And the characters are super charming and seem really well written so far, I particularly love the vignettes you see on friday nights at the inn when all the villagers get together to hang out. I like farming games but i've never been properly obsessed with one until now

Is this game buggy as hell? yep. Is the combat pretty outdated? yep. Can all of those things be fixed by mods? YEP, and pretty easily, too.

Underneath the instabilities, quirks and rushed development, Fallout: New Vegas is one of the most versatile and replayable RPGs ever. I can't remember another game where I was so invested in all the choices I could make that I was actively planning a second playthrough as I went through the game.

Good game. Buy it, mod it, love it.
