Rockstar Games has set a new benchmark in open-world storytelling with Red Dead Redemption 2 (RDR2), a prequel that not only delivers an astonishingly detailed world but also presents one of gaming’s most poignant narratives. At the center of it all is Arthur Morgan, an outlaw whose evolution from hardened gunslinger to a man seeking redemption makes him one of the most memorable protagonists in gaming history.

A Living, Breathing World
The game’s world is a masterpiece in itself, from the snow-laden mountains of Ambarino to the misty swamps of Lemoyne. Every town is vibrant, wildlife behaves authentically, and NPCs react to the player’s actions in a way that enhances immersion. Rockstar’s legendary attention to detail shines here, with mechanics like weapon maintenance, dynamic weather, and evolving character appearances adding to the realism.

Arthur Morgan – A Legendary Protagonist
Arthur Morgan is the heart and soul of RDR2. Initially seen as a loyal enforcer of the Van der Linde gang, Arthur’s journey is one of deep self-reflection and transformation. As his past actions catch up with him, he begins to question his choices, culminating in a story arc that is both deeply personal and universally relatable. His diagnosis with tuberculosis acts as a catalyst, forcing him to confront his mortality and make his final days meaningful.

The Tragic Fall of the Van der Linde Gang
Dutch Van der Linde’s descent from a visionary leader to a paranoid and broken man is a crucial part of the story. Initially, his charm and grand dreams hold the gang together, but as events spiral out of control, his decisions grow increasingly reckless. Arthur’s realization of Dutch’s true nature leads to heartbreaking moments of betrayal and loss, making the gang’s collapse one of the most compelling aspects of the game.

A Heartbreaking Finale
Arthur’s final moments are among the most emotionally resonant in gaming. Whether he chooses to help John Marston escape the gang’s inevitable downfall or fights until his last breath against Micah Bell, his fate is a tragic yet fitting conclusion to his journey. The haunting track “Unshaken” perfectly underscores his path towards redemption, making his departure all the more impactful.

A True Masterpiece
Red Dead Redemption 2 is not just another open-world game—it is an experience that leaves a lasting impression. From its breathtaking landscapes to its deeply human narrative, every element is crafted with precision and heart. Arthur Morgan’s journey stands as a testament to Rockstar’s storytelling prowess, ensuring that his legacy will be remembered for years to come.

Score: 10/10 – Masterpiece

I just finished Doom Eternal and I'm feeling anxious and exhausted. I've kneed the underside of my desk too many times to count from tensing up. My hands are soft from sweating and my knuckles crack when I try to make a fist. Doom Eternal is a celebration of excess. Excess in sin, in violence, scale, speed, and volume. I've never played a shooter this intense and demanding.

Doom Eternal also runs beautifully on a wide range of hardware and feels designed for a mouse and keyboard first. It's a modern classic, with a few caveats. Cheap deaths from getting stuck on geometry happen too often. There are six or seven layers of unnecessary progression. Doom's dark humor has mostly been traded in for deep lore and a high-fantasy cosmology. And the strain from a heavy focus on resource management is felt at every difficulty level. I worry that for some, it could be Doom: But Too Much.

But "too much" works for me as Eternal's guiding light. The moment to moment combat is distilled panic rather than empowerment. I live for the fleeting moments my head gets above water within the hurricane of light and noise and extravagant violence, and I pull off a feat of accuracy and reflex I never thought I was capable of before.

Forza Horizon 4 feels like a labour of love; a game for car lovers by car lovers. But also, it's an engrossing experience that's rewarding every step of the way. Exploring the map feels just as worthwhile as completing events. And its seamless multiplayer features, Forzathon challenges and seasonal events mean that you're not likely to grow tired of it for years. It is, without a doubt, the best racing game available right now.

The best Battle Royale FPS game I played, lots of skins and can play Crossplatfrom with mobile players. so far, this game in gameplay is better than Warzone 2.0 and subsequent versions (for Warzone 1.0 is still very good even)
