Although I still feel like the game will only be worth getting when it has more content, I was a bit harsh giving it a negative rating.

Game has already received a minor update addressing some bugs and adding accessibility features!

The game definitely has some solid foundations. Wide range of guns, upgrades and characters.
There doesn't seem to be any difficult challenges to unlock the more powerful agents but they are fairly different so that's good

I stand my ground on guns not being equal in the slightest. Some lower rarity guns feel better and are better to use which feels ♥♥♥♥ when you finally get a legendary but its meh.
Upgrades could do with some changes and perhaps being less specific. Rather than applying to a specific subgroup, maybe they could be applied to the whole ammo type?

Some more inspiration from Nuclear Throne would be amazing! Secret car level perhaps? Shotguns/slugs ricocheting? Enemies having impact force applied and dealing damage when smacking into other enemies?

The game has near limitless potential and if we ever get an endless mode, it will gain some crazy value from replayability. I feel like there is a big void in this specific genre atm that this game has potential to fill!

Yet again I wish Steam had a neutral rating. The game has a lot of potential but in the current state I cannot recommend it, especially after the introductory sale expires.

Limited amount of content although I noticed that there is a content road map with new content/areas every 3 months so I'll have to re-visit this point down the line.

I agree with some other reviewers, some guns feel really rough. Charge up guns are not great but I'm not sure what/how they could be improved.
Melee is just straight up suicide, even with a range upgrade if you're lucky to get it. Melee enemies end up hitting you at the same time unless you time it perfectly. They also don't reflect any projectiles (would be nice if they would at least reflect certain types of projectiles). Another thing it could borrow from NT is different melee arcs depending on the weapon

Game would benefit from a clearer indication of weapon types either by coloured ammo icon (NT did that), especially of currently equipped weapons while in the shop. I shouldn't need to memorise whether my gun is plasma, laser, radiation or blaster. Would be nice if upgrades applied to most weapons of ammo type rather than one specific type of a weapon

Some more involved progression would be appreciated. I unlocked all characters by just playing a couple of runs and killing the final boss once. Steady progression of needing to play 1-3 games of each character to unlock next or more weapons would be fun

Oh any perhaps more accessibility settings to make text less eye jarring by disabling the cyan/magenta colours. First hour was very jarring

Very fun, plenty of replayability and great updates. Definitely worth the price and an absolute steal for the price

Definitely worth the money and much better than Forspoken

Another potion game but it has an alright story and mechanics with npc dating
