This game is a must, for any strategy game lover. This game is easily up there with games like Crusader Kings 2, and AOE II.

The different ships and stats for the different races of crew members allows for multiple strategy types and the amount of gameplay options will allow you to play this game without ever getting bored. Unlocking each ship can be a challenge, but it's just easy enough that you don't lose interest/get discouraged. Each ship has a significant difference in intended play style, but you aren't limited to that play style. Defeating the boss is something I still have yet to do. The boss is very challenging, but not to the point of discouragement.

Overall, really great game and I highly encourage anyone to try it out. I wasn't as big of a strategy guy before, so I was very surprised at how much I enjoyed the game.
