A game I would recommended if Civ 5 was not out there. It's a good game.. for those who have never played Civ V. This is lackluster in being and comparison to it. The game feels extremely dumb down, but I suppose that's how some people like it as it's catered to a younger audience, whether they're a kid or a casuallite. A few things I don't like about this compared to Civ V are;
- Cheesy quotes that are bland and very uninteresting. (I don't know who came up with these, but we don't care who deserves more credit than the wife of a coal miner.)
- No weapon pick-ups on the map (This was a small but nice feel to the game that they removed in 6)
- Civic cards and Policies. (Why even add this..? The game doesn't need it, it's was fine without it in 5.)
- Research. A "cool" notification sound whenever a peice of research is compleleted. I hate hearing the annoying camera like snapshot sounds you hear like every time a research is done. It becomes spammy to a point and this is something Civ 5 never did.
- Less focus on combat and war and more focused on building and management (Yuck!)

Again, I recommend Civ 5 over Civ 6, if you want a more in-depth fun and chaotic management game.If you want a more clean, and polished looking game, with great visuals(and I mean that) and a day/night system, but with lack luster content and minimal features. Play Civ 6.
It's a good game, but so is eating left over oatmeal when you're hungry. You love it, and you think it's the best until you try cream of wheat for the first time and then you realize what even was life? Once you play 5, you never wanna go back to 6.

Great mods to play with btw;
- Current Time of Day mod
- Relive World Wars mod

Early Access Review
"BEYOND Humiliation" This game will punish you with everything its got as one of the most brutal and toughest ww1 games out there. From broken hit scans to spawn killing.

-Half the time joining a server crashes the game
The game has great gun mechanics but.. a few issues it or maybe man;
<30fps horribly optimized (even on the lowest settings)
*absolute garbage game in terms of optimization. Half the time when ADS your fps will stutter, from say a nearby explosion or random smoke, the frame at that moment will drop significantly .It's a disaster during gunfights, and a very annoying one.
- Very clunky gameplay, it feels like half the time shots don't register where youre aiming. At times, youll be shooting at an invisible sandbag/trench wall where youre aiming at someone. Other times, youll hit someone(close range), and a second later the bullet will register. Which could explain why it feels like shots taken at where youre aiming feels delayed.
- Iron sights are god awful in this game
-You cant even choose your own weapons, the game just randomly strips you of say a scope for your sniper rifle, or your default rifle for a pistol instead,
-Confusing map coordinate system.(Especially for new players)
- Overpriced for 35 dollars
-Holding your sword up doesnt deflect bullets

Summery keypoints:
Optimization and broken hit registration stray this game from anything that is worthwhile playing.
Would I recommend this game?

No, and no (wait till a sale or when it is out of EA.

1. Laying tracks down and managing a railroad system, stressful. Gathering wood or iron just like doing any other mindless job, relaxful.
