I was fine with this middle of the road, not great not bad game until they wanted $2 to recover a level 22 green piece of gear after the game bugged out with invincible bandits "this enemy cannot be damaged at this time"

Early access had 20k player peak, now ~250 players online... spent over 5 minutes in queue to join any available mission, had no idea the game had fallen so hard 8( really fun playing the early game alpha/beta, shelved it as I wanted to wait and play the polished experience, oh well snoozed and loosed
I'd recommend based off my earlier experience, but would not recommend with the current player counts 8(

The basic game general players will encounter is great.
Once you get to the point you want to start using the automation, go youtube "core keeper auto sort" that as of this patch level 1.1.1 is a convoluted mess that players essentially jury rig solutions to make work when all that's needed is ability to set containers to accept items by type/class ie ore or planks, or specific items, copper bars. I find it mind boggling that the way to move items is to pulse electricity lines so the drill fires off for a split second so it doesn't destroy what its facing... so then you have this huge complex array of pulsing drills so you don't destroy things when a vacuum type block would remove this unneeded complexity. For me, I was highly annoyed at this mess and chose to ignore automation and do things by hand sort.
At 150 hours in the game, I've finally hit my last straw.
Two days in a row now, I've died, logged off, and when I come back to my grave stone, NOTHING, I get a gravestone and all my inventory is gone. What's even weirder after logging back in from this mornings death, I was restored to life where I died with no life and died again... upon coming back to my death location and looting my gravestone, nothing. So whatever this bug is, there is no point in playing if I'm just going to constantly have my inventory wiped.

new company wiped progress and purchases from prior version
confusing crystal win dynamic has enemies stealing your crystals without clear way to defend/retake and keep them
I bought this game to in the prior owners to not dead with pay to win, now its everywhere in this
tried to force my way through the early stages but just really started hating what this game became/loss of prior purchase/progress/unlocked cards

As of this post - it seems the general consensus is that the devs have abandoned the game and it's discord.
The game has good bones for a game grabbed on sale for $2.50.
Reminds me a lot of playing diablo 3 at launch. Crazy overpowered encounters on the high end maps requiring you to stick and dodge stick and dodge if you don't want to insta die on nightmare.
Had it for roughly two weeks, went through all the storyline on nightmare with a group of four friends and def got my $2.50 out of it. I randomly picked rogue to play with them and seems to have been the best choice as it's farming ability is uncanny with stealth at level 1 and being able to run around in nightmare on ragewind looting the chests was fun.
Game has lots of flaws that you'd hope the devs would be around to fix/tune but they are awol. Not the best game and I've certainly played much worse.

One of the better games out there. My go to after getting tired of hearthstones broken mechanics and poor design direction years ago. Don't get me wrong, Eternal was broken for a while too, could still be, been a few years and I've forgotten why I quit. But I'm back and enjoying it again. Playing through all my old decks and not running into broken card interactions.

8 hours of account linking hell and its still not fixed / broken
9 days later after submitting support request they delete the ticket with no response.
I recreate the ticket, its now 9 days old as of the time of this review update
Never once have I had any support response and still unable to play on my original account.

The go through all this coding to make a mailbox system for lost and found, system messages and normal messages in one place. Then instead of using it, the currency shop goes and has yet another mailbox. People not getting the currency/purchases probably missed that there is a shop mailbox only accessable via the shop window.

Game has extreme need of many QoL fixes and changes. Buts its playable once you can get in and start playing.
Real world money shop is extreme, buy a cosmetic and you have to pick the character you want it bound to. That's right, you buy a hat for one character, none of your other characters can use it. The prices are extreme, Nexon is definitely gouging with its prices, suppose that's what Korean games are about. Sucks if they made things reasonable could engage with a lot more players, but why do that when whales will dump hundreds for cosmetics for all their characters.

If anything it feels like Destiny 2 and somewhat like Outriders visually – I hated both of those so it's no wonder I'm not liking this and is definitely a Warframe clone, a game I love, so got a love/hate thing going on with it.
I still wouldn't recommend it, but if you want something like I described, enjoy.

*edit*
Funny, just saw an article saying people are calling them out for stealing Destiny 2 assest/designs... I guess that destiny 2 vibe I was mentioning was legit. lol.

pretty much at the end game farm point at this point, trying to get my first ultimate
it's caner at its finest... single digit drop chances that never happen, that have to be farmed through multiple stages, have to spend hours farming materials to unlock those stages, only to then be stuck behind boss kills you can't complete because players can't do mechanics right.
I'm rarely having fun with this game this last week. Keep playing telling myself getting that ultimate descendant will make all this BS grind worth it.

Felt like playing half life 1 from over 20 years ago but with multiplayer, and base building
So many smart moves with the game designs in this game...
Holding a mug of coffee... tilt it, the water level actually adjusts

Game is garbage at 4k resolution, sitting here squinting trying to view icons / words that are 3 pixels tall.
Tried a mod that increased font size seemed to work, but icons / buttons were still micro.
I'm not going to sit here and deal with 3rd party mods just so I can read the screen and click menus.
Wish I could refund but bought on sale and left unplayed as I was in other games.
