I could write a novella on how this game fell short of its potential, but I'll keep it short.
The writing is a step down from the original, which is a shame since it had a lot of big ideas it could've still explored, but instead took the easy way out.
The combat took everything that was annoying from the first game and made it worse, if I have to fight another stupid flying enemy when the camera can't look more than 75 degrees up, I'll be forced to play on the "story" difficulty.
Game has even more pointless systems it didn't need, bloated as can be, and the pacing is very wonky.

It's a real shame, the writing in HZD was absolutely phenomenal, it walked a tightrope of being plausible despite the setting, this game fails entirely there, and without the story to hold everything else up, it was hard to eek out enjoyment.

Unbelievably good coop shooter. It's been a long time since I had this much pure enjoyment playing a game, I can't recommend this enough.
There are some technical issues, but they should be resolved in the coming weeks.
This game will be remembered as a classic.

Finally got around to playing this with the free time I had at the tail end of 2023, and wow, R* really knocked it out of the park on this.
Stellar game, phenomenal story, acting, and atmosphere.

Absurd shader building times, crashed on the menu screen 3 times, mid-cinematic loading pauses. Horrible port.

Homeworld 1 is an absolute gem of a classic game, beautiful soundtrack, visuals, and story.

DMC3 is one of the greatest games ever made, a genuine classic.

Come for the gameplay, and absolutely gorgeous recreation of Montana. Story is totally garbage, but coop and running around rural America is a blast.
