It absolutely needs a bit of polish here and there, and maybe more NPCs to interact with or mill about to make the world feel a bit more lively (rather than just a ton of cars driving around aimlessly), BUT...this is sincerely a lot of fun and pretty relaxing for the most part. It's a bit janky, but it's a good and fun kind of janky. I've been playing with friends here and there just seeing what we're capable of, and it's been a riot. It's obviously early access, but as it stands it's very enjoyable. Can't wait to see what becomes of it in the future.

This is a relatively short VN, and it is sweet, bittersweet, and ultimately heartbreaking depending on which ending you get (if you don't replay for the others, of course, which I highly recommend that you do). The art is beautiful, and everything is soft and serene on the surface, hiding a much more important and serious discussion about mental health. It's not for the faint of heart, but even so it left me feeling so many things, both positive and not so positive, about my own mental health issues that I've struggled with over the years. Pay attention to the people around you that you care about. Sometimes they're hiding a darkness inside that needs to be heard.

I have a dedicated Meow button ;A; and I can knock things off of ledges and trip people, this game is amazing lol

I Am Cat

In all seriousness, I'm a few chapters in now and I keep forgetting my objectives simply because I'm having such a good time exploring and just being a cat. The setting is very well done and interesting, with hints about the fate of humanity and the overall society the robots have created in the time since the humans have passed. And the city itself, the concept of it, is very interesting and implies the humans may have been hiding or protecting themselves from something Outside...I shall update my review as I go forward, but as of right now I'm truly hooked.

Dead game, and I didn't even get an hour in before it bugged out and wouldn't let me play anymore. Give it a pass.

I absolutely suck at battle royale games, I won't even lie about that. I tried my hand at this game and quit out of frustration. HOWEVER, the setting (both story-wise and the physical setting) are superb, the graphics are extremely well done, and the controls are fluid and intuitive. Just because I personally suck at it doesn't mean I'm going to downvote the game. It's a free game with a lot of potential for fun and added content down the line, and fans of the Vampire: The Masquerade TTG will likely have fun even if it's just a few tries at it. I love watching other people play more than playing it myself, again because I genuinely am just garbage at these kinds of games, and I'll be sitting on the sidelines cheering folks on and maybe I'll try again someday <3

UPDATE 03.09.2023! I still suck, but I'm getting better ;u;

UPDATE 03.28.2023! I'm getting better, also TREMERE! 8D I've been playing a lot with a friend of mine, and it's been a lot of fun! It's been an almost nightly thing once we're both home from work, and it's been a great way to unwind and let out work stress, and we've even made a few new friends along the way while chilling out in Elysium between matches (love that the Elysium lobby genuinely feels like a place to hang out as well, way better than a standard team loading screen). All in all, this has seriously been a great time~

Although my play time in Steam isn't exactly high, I played this when it first came out and again in 2003 along with Soul Reaver 2 just before Defiance was released, as well as playing it quite a bit recently using mods to help improve the experience (and since it affects the main exe, Steam isn't registering my play time).

In spite of the clunky controls by today's standards (not to mention the INFURIATING block puzzles), this classic still holds up remarkably well and it's worth it just to experience the story, characters, and massive setting. If the controls were tightened a bit and Raziel wasn't quite as slippy-slidey when you're trying to make him stop on a ledge, it would be much nicer to play. Maybe it's just my nostalgia goggles, but this series as a whole has always been one of my favorites, and I would revisit it often up until recent years. The nostalgia bug bit pretty hard again and I just had to start playing them all again.

Admittedly frustrating at times due to the weird controls and block puzzles, there are mods and patches out there that give you proper controller capability, make the game fully playable on Windows 10, and give you ways to bypass the majority of the more hair-pulling block puzzles. Get them. Play the game, play the series if you can get your hands on Blood Omen, get the full story experience. It's worth it.

Played this with as few lights on as possible and headphones on.

I am still the biggest weenie I know when it comes to the actually scary Resident Evil games, and my aim is still pretty crap; I know I missed a ton in this and I definitely didn't get very far, but I purposefully didn't watch anyone else play it first so I could get the scary/creepy atmosphere in full. The sound design, graphics, and overall atmosphere are on point. I feel bad for not getting a fuller experience with the demo, but I kept pausing it because the little sounds were freaking me out haha

But from a 30 minute taste? A++++++, 100/10

I will suck playing it, but I want it lol

I have no idea why I haven't reviewed this yet, but episode 4 came out just recently and I'd say it's about time I get to it. The story so far has been one of the most engrossing stories I've come across since Downfall and the Cat Lady, and in spite of the more 90s Nicktoons cartoony style, I find myself caring about the characters and when bad things happen (or even good things) I honestly feel emotional. There's a lot of love going into this project, and the fact that Steve's been so interactive and responsive with the fandom gives the experience an extra boost. You feel excited when a new episode's release is announced and the countdown begins, because Steve himself is excited to share this experience with us.

The story is engaging, the characters are easy to fall in love with (even the weirder side characters), the dialogue and the overall style are fun, there are challenging puzzles and secrets to find that offer new insight into the story and you feel rewarded for being thorough and explorative, and you are left chomping at the bit wanting to know what happens next.

The only criticism I might have is that some of the puzzles are a bit TOO obscure and there is a lot of trial and error trying to solve them. But hey! It wouldn't be rewarding if it was too easy.

I love this game, I love Sal, and I can't wait for episode 5!

As a Trekkie, this is quite possibly the most fun and most fulfilling experience I've had with an MMORPG in a LONG time, and I've dragged plenty of my friends into it with me over the last four years. The only complaint I really have is that the leveling system has changed since I first started, making it almost sickeningly easy to hit the level cap within less than a week of playing for a few hours here and there. Even so, it's still a lot of fun, the character customization options are pretty expansive, the different alien species available to play just keeps growing for all three factions, and there are always new stories added on to keep even veteran players interested. Tack on that various Star Trek actors reprise their roles for voice acting and Leonard Nimoy does a great deal of the heavy narration, and it's just a fun, rounded experience~

So far, this is a wonderful experience. The graphics aren't exactly up to par with current PC and console games, but for me it's the story, seemingly forever unfinished and constantly unfolding, that keeps me coming back to the bridged worlds of Arcadia and Stark. After eight years of waiting for a cliffhanger to be resolved, it really feels like things are finally coming together. Even though only Chapter 1 has been released at the time of this review (and I admittedly seemed to whisk right through it, but I just couldn't stop playing) I cannot WAIT for the rest of the story. I'm so happy this was made, and I remain a fan of this series who finds themself immersed in the story, environments, and characters and I just want more and more.

Bring it on~
