Best American football game I have ever played. Wonderfully easy to mod rosters and team colours/logos. It is a delight to play whether you control the teams or just sim the games. It's also possible to take the season's players and import them as the draft players for the earlier Legend Bowl game from the same developer which is just as amazing. Great community on the official discord. Yes there are a couple of lingering bugs/glitches but the overall quality of this game makes it worth it. I could not recommend this more to anyone who is searching for a game that delivers where Madden fails.

As someone who has wanted there to be a decent Blood Bowl game forever I keep getting suckered into the same BAD business practices and BAD service development. This game requires permanent online connection and Cyanide CANNOT reliably keep their servers running. There is an offline mode that it will revert to as a result. But nothing you've done in game until that point will be saved. So enjoy creating a brand new team to play against the AI with loaded dice.

As for the game itself. Somehow it is worse in every aspect than its predecessors. It runs worse. It looks worse and the amount of content in base game is frankly disgusting.

Fix your servers or make it offline. This is not acceptable.

Literally the last thing I do in mission 1 is side-ram a car as we're reaching the final jump—he lands next to me and explodes in a ball of heavenly flames—I land and start skidding sideways into a slide.
Mission complete comes up.
I complete my slide as if I were the polygon embodiment of Mel Gibson, in true movie star fashion!

Theme hospital in space but without creepy people with giant heads.

Enjoyed this game when I had it on console. The PC version seemed like a no-brainer in the sale. Unfortunately launching this game through Steam requires you to install and run UPlay (Ubisoft's Steam alternative). Which seems to be a better method if your intention is to look at a pretty launcher and be incapable of actually playing the game.

Update to follow should I actually get some gameplay out of this, so consider this a review of the experience rather than a review of the game itself for now.

Updating this review as I agree with every single issue the community has with this game. Everything that was an issue in Counter-Strike Global Offensive has been "improved" so that CS:GO looks like a flawless game in comparison.
