A very simple, but captivating and enjoyable experience. Elaborate performance tuning options for an arcade racer. Visual customization (bumpers, spoilers, etc.) could be expanded on.

The handling is sim-cadey, leaning more to the arcade side, which makes swerving through traffic when racing opponents a very smooth and addicting experience. Hell, I even abstained from using cheat engine to get my money because of that.

Every character has their own little story, which you can collect and read through in the form of menu text entries, which is interesting and shows a great love for detail.

One of my personal favorite things about this game is the accurate representation of a real-life location which is the Shuto Expressway in Tokyo. The expressway, and the environment surrounding the road itself, is a near 1:1 copy of it's real life counterpart which expands even further on the attention to detail.

This is my first ever TXR game and I can understand why this game enjoyed, and still enjoys a cult following.

Absolutely zero regrets on spending 30€ for early access, and so far, Genki has been regularly listening to player feedback, and updating the game.
