As far as Space Station 13/GMOD DarkRP comparisons go, I particularly enjoy how the dev team has been leaning into having the systems in this game be reactive. There are periods where not much changes for sure, but never periods where nothing happens.

You're going to get some of the most wretched miserable people in your life playing on the official servers, but if you have a friend or two, grab some copies and find a chill community server- it's incredibly fun & rewarding to try and hatch schemes with them.

An improvement on the first in almost every way, a much more fully formed rpg. More to chew on and respects the reader more overall- the kind of sequel I really enjoy. In comparison the first almost seems like a testbed for what they're doing here, but I think you do get more out of it if you've played both, just to see the iteration on the design (and story) pay off.

If I have any serious complaint with this, I've wrestled with some of the ending both in terms of writing and in terms of mechanics; it feels like you're going to enter a much more interesting/risky 'phase' of the game, but it's almost solely used to just wrap up loose threads. Similar to Citizen Sleeper 1, I also eventually plateaued in my resources and found little challenge, but less so than 1. That said, I might have more thoughts if I give this another spin on the hardest difficulty.

Scratches the itch in my brain that I used to sate by doing "NPC wars" in gmod circa 2015. Fun bite sized little shooter, really hope this gets more maps or workshop support.

Has the dubious award of being the only videogame in recent memory that has caused me to have visual hallucinations. Gonna be keeping an eye out for what this developer does next.

Deeply ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ disappointing that CYAN- the developers who put novella-sized in universe journals which you read to solve puzzles in their old games, -would make something chock full of generative AI ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I wish i could recommend this, because when it's good, its very very good. But the AI stuff sticks out like a sore thumb.

It isn't even textures. It's whole portions writing and voice acting. A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ shame, because I truly truly love CYAN. For their sake, I hope they don't continue this pattern & return to form.
