I genuinely think this was a genius narrative device to build around what is essentially a short horror visual novel with minigames included, but it has weaved all of those mechanics quite deftly around what the story has developed into, and it carries on the horror of the looming doom of an unknowable threat with some consistent levity and great art-direction that fits the tone wildly well.
After following on from the original Part One release, there were a lot of expectations as to what you could possibly add to this story, and frankly I couldn't be happier! I couldn't be happier! Absolutely perfect.

Matches are fast. Literally better than Dead by Daylight on that metric alone.

Because have yet to get tired of shouting "GET THE ♥♥♥♥ OUTTA HERE!" while smacking the corse of my friend's skateboarding robot off screen. Also, it plays with all the refinement of some of the best fighting games (particularly party-fighters and Smashlikes) with a style and design all its own. This is amust-have if you like stiff competition, deep mechanics and simple controls.

Some of the hardest hitting, fastest gameplay I've enjoyed in a Smashlike in some time. Like, seriously, it flows wonderously and keeps me coming back. Not to mention, unlike a lot of its piers, it remembered there were "Smash" games AFTER "Melee" that were worth taking some queues from. You hear me, "RoA"? DO YOU ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ HEAR ME!?
