It's cold here in the forest. There's always snow and the sky is forever grey. I don't like coming here. It makes me feel very sad. I take a deep breath and start to walk around as I hum my lullaby. I'm now on the hunt. There are these things that growl and light up if you play with them long enough. When they're asleep I can see where they are. They look very bright and red. I don't like the color red. It reminds me of mother. A big noise somewhere near by caught my attention. I start walking over and there they are. I see them all the time playing with the red things. They run away from me, though. I think they're afraid. That makes me sad, too. I just want to see what they're doing. I want to help, but It tells me I have to hurt the red things so they can't leave.

I hear one moving behind me so I look. I see her sometimes. Her hair looks like the sky. It's really pretty. I start walking to her when she starts running away. I follow her to see where she's going. Sometimes they wave to me to come. She turns left and I go left too. But I see why. She wants to drop a wood thing on me. It hurts me a lot when they do that, but I can't tell them it does. I can only groan. I can speak words in my head but my mouth can't make them. I wish I could talk to them with my head...

I grab one of my hatchets and lift it up. I throw it and she falls down with a scream. I don't like to hurt them, but I get angry when they hurt me. I stomp on the wood thing and walk over to her. I pick her up and look around. There's red hooks everywhere now. I can see them when I'm holding the others. She starts wiggling as I walk to a hook. They always try to get away, but I don't really mind if they do. I wouldn't want to be hooked either. Too bad I have to do it or It gets mad at me. I throw her on the hook and she screams. She tries to get off, but the hold is too strong. It's claws start coming and surrounding her, but I step away. I don't like to be close. She shrieks as the claws try to stab her, but she pushes on them to keep them away. She's getting weaker. They're too strong...

She pushes one more time before her arms give out. It growls and stabs straight through her body. Blood spurts everywhere as they each splinter through her body. The hook lifts up and It comes down to take her. I run behind a tree and watch. I don't like It... It scares me... I wish I could take them off the hook and say sorry. I don't like giving them to It. When It takes them I feel alone. So sometimes I do let them wiggle free- if it means I don't have to be alone for a while longer. The hook clatters to the ground and I turn away to find the others. They made one red thing go bright, so I have to stop them. I have to feed It. To keep It satisfied... I have to kill them, or It will hurt me... Again...

I went into this game expecting to love it. It was mildly interesting but criminally boring at times.

I love story rich walking simulators but this wasn't it. What keeps me engaged in walking simulators is, well, the walking. The exploration of it all--allowing the landscape/world help tell the story. In Killer Frequency you're essentially locked into one room with not a lot to interact with and you're forced to wait for prompts to continue the story. And you're expected to stand in one specific area of the room as well since that is where the prompts will occur. The DJ aspect is incredibly limited as well and I found it incredibly buggy at times.

The voice acting was good. The story was meh, especially the end. It just felt anticlimactic.

I don't even know if I have it in me to play it again to 100% the achievements.

Cozy Grove has the artwork/design of Don't Starve but with Animal Crossing gameplay. Like Animal Crossing, it's meant to be played in short bursts everyday. It's a wonderfully cozy game. The character's stories are fantastic (as is the music). Cozy Grove feels like a warm hug. Highly recommend.

Addictive farming sim! Reminds me a lot of Farmville back in the day without all the microtransactions. I love being able to design my farm however I want. I love being able to play with my friends and being able to help others. All the events are are fun and spread throughout the year. My only complaint is that I wish there were more items for decorating our homes and more outdoor decorations.

I finally decided to play My Time at Portia after several friends recommended it to me. My only regret is not listening to them sooner!

My Time At Portia is a wonderful sim game with a good story weaved throughout it. It's not as grindy as Stardew and feels much more balanced. Highly recommend if you've enjoyed games like Stardew Valley, Harvest Moon, and Slime Rancher.

Early Access Review
The game, in its current early-access state, has a lot of bugs but the devs seem to address things quickly.

Hide or Die is A LOT of fun. Currently there are two game modes--Last Man Standing and Escape. Both modes are fun and offer different gameplay. A lot of fun to play with friends.

I am thoroughly enjoying Hide or Die and am excited to see how the game progresses with its development.

A unique take on the survival game genre. Very Burton-esque atmosphere and aesthetic. Can definitely lose track of time when playing this and it's multiplayer sister, Don't Starve Together.

First game I've ever refunded on steam.

I gave up an hour in.
The voice actor on the protagonist, Louis, is god awful.
The game handholds you to the point of sheer annoyance, making it play like a game aimed for children.
The UI indicators when you're doing certain dialogue minigames are jarring, bright lime green text saying "CONGRATULATIONS" taking up 1/5th of your screen, completely ruining the RPG element of the game. The UI literally seems like an afterthought.
The movement on is clunky and not responsive.

I thought the premise was interesting and in playing it I thought they had added some really interesting elements into the typical gameplay of episodic story games. But all the many cons far outweigh any redeemable features this game may have.
