A factory building game with endless possibilities set in an interesting and mysterious world. Highly recommended if you're into factory building. It won't change your mind if these aren't your kind of game, though.

I had to sadly uninstall this game due to sheer frustration, this is my list of complaints:

- missing quest markers. Constantly unsure where the hell you're supposed to go, or what the hell to do. Impossible to play without online guides.
- awful combat: clunky controls, sluggish animations and response, bad hit detection, impossible to heal during combat.
- no autosaves. if you forget to save, yes, be ready to replay everything since your last save.
- extremely high difficulty on 'normal', incredibly frustrating to complete even the first few side-quests without constantly dying.
- too many cutscenes and long dialogue sessions, making gameplay screech to a halt.
- limited, narrow corridor-like world.
- awful UI: it's slow to use inventory, drink potions, craft or buy/sell items. Everything takes ages.
- ridiculous quicktime events which miscalculate your button presses, making you replay them over and over until it magically recognizes the right input.
- badly optimized graphics engine, with low frame rate.
- ugly immersion-breaking character animations.
- useless potions and skills, which barely help you at all. Spells are unclear since they have weird names, and you don't know what the hell they even do half the time. Clunky quick-select system to change spells.

Pros

+ Great graphics, sound, etc.

+ Anything set in the LOTR universe is interesting.

+ Satisfying gameplay. Movement and combat is fluid, responsive and rewarding.

Cons

- One of the most repetitive games ever made.

- Combat is too easy and it's really easy to find exploits.

- The nemesis system is cool at first, but ultimately extremely repetitive and shallow.

- boring open world, with nothing to do.

- recycled secondary missions, and no secondary quests.

- Lack of variety of enemy types.

- Zero customization. You can't change armor, clothing, weapons etc. nothing.

- Short campaign.

- Bad, boring, repetitive and unoriginal story and quests.

- lack of content, the price doesn't reflect what you get.

- Shallow and easy stealth system.

- No platforming challenges or puzzles, although Assassin's Creed style parkour is a core mechanic.

A really fun roguelite game in the form of a fantasy/comedy brawler. There is a lot of content in this: loads of different enemies, items, weapons, secrets, customizable options etc. If anything, the main campaign mode is too short and the final boss is way too easy. Overall a pretty fun game with a lot of replayability.

Forget Call of Duty and Battlefield. Insurgency is brutal and unforgiving, putting you in the middle of a realistic and tactical experience in which a single wandering bullet can take you down. Teamwork is essential, and it's important to take a slow and tactical approach, rather than running around guns blazing. It has a decent variety of modes and maps, and a decent amount of players. I just wish they could add more content, since at the moment the devs seem to busy working on Day of Infamy.

The only huge drawback is the use of the outdated source engine. It's about time devs stopped using it. The game works fine, but the source engine problems are there and they are noticeable. It also gives the game a feeling of familiarity, and not in a good way. Overall it's still well worth buying, and a unique experience.

This game depicts a man struggling to fight poverty: he breaks into abandoned buildings riddled with hobos and murders them all.

A fun romp of a game in which your objective is to beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of hobos, crackheads, sewer gollums and every mean-looking mugface you encounter. The game is quite short and has a bland corridoor-like structure, with a very simple melee combat system are very few ranged weapons with only a few bullets.

The story is horrible: you get framed because the FBI is dumb and doesn't understand the concept of someone stealing your gun and shooting another person with it (because if you're a respected officer and a person gets shot with your gun it's OBVIOUSLY you who did it, and everyone is 100% convinced with no reasonable doubt). You follow very conveniently placed clues that lead you on an excuse of a journey in which your real objective is to smash people's faces. As an FBI agent, you obviously don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about protecting and serving the people, since you snap the necks of every dirty looking poor piece of ♥♥♥♥ you lay your eyes on.

the game is good if you want to vent your anger by getting rid of the low class by smashing open their skulls with the first impromptu weapon you can grab.

The best entry in the Batman Arkham series offers a portion of a city to explore, riddled (literally) with collectibles, unique sidequests, a thrilling campaign story and gorgeous settings and landscapes. It's the best Batman game out there, and quite possibly the best superhero game to date. The graphics are simply incredible, and it runs like melted butter. The fighting system is very fun and varied, with some amazing music that goes perfectly with the action. The only complaints I have is that after the campaign and sidequests there is very little to keep you playing, as the riddler trophies are far too many and tedious to collect. The challenge mode offers some extra content, but the different characters that you can play with ultimately feel very similar and have basically the same gadgets and moves. The game also holds your hand a bit too much, with many actions being context sensitive and not giving you the freedom you might have hoped for. It's still very well worth two or three playthroughs overall, so your money is very well spent.

It's exactly what you'd expect: a bunch of messy levels to clean up. No more, no less. There is some lore and secrets to be explored that make it a little more interesting than that. However that's not what bothers me about this game. The main crucial drawback is the broken multiplayer and the total absense of public servers AND the absolute headache to get into a functioning match. The developer's excuse is that its Unreal Engine's fault. Then why don't other UE games suffer from the same issue? Absolutely ridiculous.

If you want to play this game, make sure you have some friends ready to play with you and HOURS to set up the damn thing to work. It supports splitscreen, which is always a plus. It's somewhat enjoyable when you manage to get into a working game with over 2 players.

Early Access Review
Glacially slow content updates hold back what could be an insanely good game.

What you get, however, is enough to let you enjoy a bunch of hours mowing through zombies with a variety of weapons and classes and a few maps.

Just bear in mind you will be doing the same thing over and over, so if you really enjoy gore and a challenging game give it a go. Hopefully they will implement new game modes, classes and maps soon. As it stands it's a good game, but not great.

Very average shooter, but with some interesting mechanics. Sadly the time-shifting abilities are only used to solve puzzles or as a 'bullet time' to pick off enemies, I really hoped they would have designed the game better around them. Taking them away leaves you with a bland shooter, nothing to write home about and a completely forgettable storyline, plus boring environments and level design. Not recommended, I'd give it maybe a 6/10 cause I still somewhat had fun and the weapons are quite cool. Nice gore effects also.
