One of the best police games I've played, hands down. I've tried mobile games. Roblox cop simulator. GTA5 police mods. And none of them (well, except maybe GTA in a public lobby) compare to this game.

This is everything I've ever wanted from a police game. The mundane beat, citing vandals and giving tickets, then instantly going to high-speed pursuits and shootouts based on either dispatch calls or random encounters keeps the game fresh and intense.

After the initial tutorial, you're free to do whatever you want - Custom shifts where you can choose your own beats are unlocked extremely early, and there is no time limit on progressing the story (at the time of my playing). Love the player agency.

However, there are some minor issues, like Escort Units(friendly police AI) not driving away or despawning, the vehicles handling like an 18-ton wheeler, or that the initial shove a suspect does to evade resist is not actually counted as assault. But given the game's just released, having issues is understandable. Nothing gamebreaking yet.

So, if you're looking for a good police simulator(like I have), take a chance and try this game.

Why do I need BattleEye installed if I'm just going to play singleplayer?
Keep your invasive "anticheats" off my computer until I want to play until a server.
Don't force it on me if I have no intention of ever going online.

For someone who's never played Touhou or much bullet hells, this is a nice Hololive themed introduction to the genre. Pretty fun time-sink, lots of references, music's absolutely banger, and there's also accessibility settings if you feel like having an easier time. Overall, a very solid game.

Another banger from Kay Yu, maker of Holocure. The game's very enjoyable, though as a Botan player (why fight with fists when gun go bang) finishing my first run was sort of painful. Here's why:

Reloading is automatic, which is good 90% of the time. The other 10% is when she decides to reload right in front of an enemy and you can't dodge because she's frozen. Then you get hit.

Botan's Skill 2 requires you to charge in place, and any enemy attack flinches you and thus cancels it. Even if you equip the breastplate which gives you super armor during charge, you don't actually get armor during the attack, so enemies can straight up cancel you whenever.

Her ultimate is great for mob clearing, but against bosses she's subpar as the first two bombs knock the boss immobile, thus turning them invincible and rendering the rest of the bombs useless. Also, your invincibility stops before the bombs finish dropping, which I found out the hard way.

Also, there's currently no saving, which means you should set aside 1-2 hours for a full run. Or I guess you could just pause it and leave it in the background.

Your friendly NPC teammates also die way too quickly. You can't bring teammates from 1 area to the next, meaning even if you keep your guys alive after the boss fight you end up alone in the next area anyways, so theres no chance of assembling a giant horde of fans to swarm. The superchat items that heal your guys are also rare and do little, and the only other way they heal is by progressing through a stage, so more often than not they'll just get swarmed by the enemy instead and die without doing much.

You also can't drop or change items. If you see say a burger on the ground but your inventory's full, you gotta fully use up another one of your items. Slightly inconvenient, especially during the healing item achievement run.

Anyways, despite all that, Kay and the team cooked another peak game and it's enjoyable as hell. Definitely try it out if you're a fan of hololive or river city girls type combat. Actual suinema.

Pretty good game, and getting your first talent is incredibly quick. If only Suisei was in the first banner...
