If u enjoy fast paced hardcore perma-death twitch platforming games then this is the game 4 u also i recommend this because i love 8-bit games very nostalgic

It's a great sandbox with a beautiful modding community and amazing multiplayer game-modes. It's one of those things where you accidentally play until 6:00 AM because you lost yourself in playing it. You know how in most games after you've beaten the main storyline and all the quests and there's nothing left to do? Well there is no "missions" or "quests" in this (unless its in one of the gamemodes). Its very much worth the price, the only big-ish problem is that it crashes if you dont have the processor power.

after 10 minuetes of playtime i am happy i got this for $2 instead of 10 its just boring and the combat is repeditive

I feel like it's my duty to update my review since 1.0. I would like to go into detail as to why this game is quite possibly the best sandbox/adventure game ever in the next poorly written paragraph.

First thing's first: I have been playing this game for a very long time and have followed it's progress since it was announced. I bought it as soon as I had the chance because the thought of "Terraria in Space!" tickled my funny bone in the best way, what I got was way more than I expected. SInce 1.0 the game has grown to fantastic proportions. Let's go into detail shall we?

The story: Without spoilers I will explain the story, Imagine a Mass Effect-ish space epic with branching backstories and awesome bossfights.

The gameplay: The Matter Manipulator will be the primary resource of everything you do and you will always need to keep it handy. The combat is pretty good (For me the combat is as hard as Dark Souls but I am ♥♥♥♥ so do with that what you will.)

The universe: It has an infinite number of planets to explore and probably the most fun thing to do is type in random coordinates and see where it takes you. There is no shortage of biomes to explore. Everything from Eyeball Trees to basic desert biomes.

The characters: You have a few races to choose from: The Humans ofc, The Avians (Religious bird people), The Apex (Super intelligent ape people), The Glitch (Robotic race that gained sentience), The Florans (Indigenious plant folk that are known to be violent), The Hylotl (Japan-inspired fish people that embrace peace in underwater cities, and last but not least The Novakids (Star people with a badass Old West theme and a charming way of speaking).

I think that's it, please keep in mind that the game is still relatively unstable but fully worth the $15 that I payed. I hope you enjoy this game as much as I have and have a nice afternoon.

i think tht this could be the new flappy bird but it is really bland and only really worth playing if u have a controller

After 200+ hours after my previous review, I can safely say I was wrong. This game deserves a 10/10 not an 8/10. I can't believe that people compare this to Minecraft, they are not even a little bit alike! (Though I recommend them both.) This game is like that toy that you find in the store when you're young and you think to yourself: "This is it, nothing will ever be as good as this toy and I will play with this toy."
