Of course as of this reviews writing the game is unfinished, and feels as such, but I would gladly and wholeheartedly recommend picking this up, even right now there's a good chunk of content, and a very dense world full of strange and eldritch things.
It would be an absolute disservice to the developers creativity to compare it to anything else, but if you just had to compare it to something it'd be Morrowind, except it's not nearly as obtuse.
The worldbuilding that you can find at this point in the game is absolutely enthralling if in-game text is your jam, on the surface it can feel very strange but it all makes sense within the context of it's lore.
My only real complaints are ones that stem from the fact that this is in early access but the developers are very responsive in fixing such issues.
Definitely give it a go.

It showing a mere 30 hours on Steam is not indicative of how much time I've spent playing this damn game, on both PS3 and PS4 I probably have a total time in this game going on 900 hours if not more. It's probably the best example of a flawed masterpiece that I can think of. If they'd gone just a little bit further in fleshing out the Thalmor as a threat and explaining things a bit better this could be the apex of open world gaming. As it stands it's still probably my favorite open world game of all time, especially with mods.

*Sniff* Oh *Sniff* OH! It smells like someone left a group of OC's here. But jokes aside, This game is bad even for mobile game standards and I shall go into detail as to why in the upcoming paragraph.


I would like to start off with a disclaimer: I don't claim that I could do better, but I have been gaming for a number of years so I am confident in my abilities to distinguish good from bad, this game is bad.

The graphics are terrible, coming from someone that frequents Abe's Oddysee, that's kinda crazy.

Then there's the gameplay, you basically walk around clicking "!!!" until something happens and that continues for the whole game, so there isn't really any gameplay to speak of.

Of course I gotta talk about the story. The game is spread out across 3 or 4 levels with a different protagonist for each. It's pretty forgettable in terms of quality. Hence why I'm not going to go into detail about it.

Okay, enough procrastination, time to talk horror. The few jump scares/events that do occur are not scary at all, they consist of shadow people and the occasional loud noise. I don't feel any atmosphere, the music kinda sucks in atmosphere's respect.

I think that's it. I applaud the devs for their effort but I personally think it could have been better. It has a fair amount of potential that I don't think it's going to reach. Okay, I'm gonna keep this review short and sweet. I love this game for so many reasons. It's got so much going for it. I think that the main reason is that it has some of the best gameplay I've ever seen, it's pretty much the game that Watch_Dogs wanted to be. Along with some amazing comedy that was a mix between Hitchhikers and Paul. I'm gonna cut this short now, please leave your complaints in the comment section.

Hi, this game is amazing! Especially for an early access title. Now, my only problem is that I have some framerate issues, not unplayable by any means, but can get kinda frustrating. My specs are: Intel Core 2 Duo 3,00GHz processor, 4 gigs of RAM, WIndows 7 64 bit. If I could get some help to fix it, that would be great. The devs should really pat themselves on the back though.

This is my review, I may go into more depth in the future but for now, all I can do is answer questions:

1: Do I like this game? Yes!

2: Does this game emulate the feeling of old school platformers like Mario, The Legend of Zelda, with a little bit of Contra thrown in? Abso-freakin'-lutely!

Final: Is this game perfect? No game is but this game comes pretty damn close!

As I said, I may do a better review in the future, but I am a lazy bum.

I recommmend this game so hard its untrue i mean it has a few glitches but nothing game breaking so yea its pretty sweet and the combat is so meaty its just brutal

I have played this game properly and got a few and ima just say this game is meh that is the best dscription i can give its not a bad game but its not a good game if you like games like mario kart with power ups and stuff but want it grittier then its good but it has a some flaws like the multiplayer is dead unless you can get a copy for some friends which is really fun but the single player is disgusting and way to easy the only way to get any diffuculty is to make it on hard difficulty but it has pretty good graphics and when u kill someone its satisfying and so is those DRIVE THROUGH THE DEBRIS!! moments so its like i said meh (sorry for bad english)

If u enjoy fast paced hardcore perma-death twitch platforming games then this is the game 4 u also i recommend this because i love 8-bit games very nostalgic
