Best played at night in the dark with headset. The opening is so impressive for me, walking and driving on the surface of Mars. Having only one ending is, I guess, because of the clear relation of Fort Solis to movies. Well, I wished at the end, there were more than one ending. For me, it is always 'nice' to have the chance to save characters you started to like or love over time.

Old man here, finished on beginner difficulty... and liked it. If you follow the rules, you soon know, what the game wants from you. For me, gameplay, checkpoints or even gameplay is much more fair designed, than it looked for me at the beginning. I liked the atmosphere, location and story. Just the main character could be bit better face-designed, maybe next time in the sequel, fingercross. Liked also the german voice-acting.

For me, best played (in 2024) with changing "MaxSmoothedFrameRate" in PandoraEngine.ini (C:\Users\{USERNAME}\Documents\My Games\Legendary\PandoraGame\Config) from 300 to the max refresh rate of my HDR-Monitor 165 Hz. This activated Automatic-HDR on Windows 11 and the game looked much better while playing (not kind of washed out anymore).

Even difficulty level seems to keep much more accurate than when playing with 300 setting. With 300 fps, this seems to increase difficulty level enormous, even on easy level.

Sad, that there is still no movie with that fascinating story. What about a remaster/remake of the game? This is my way to say Thank You to the developers, I played this already when it was published. Don't like the checkpoint saving system, and also that you cannot skip cutscenes, but the game keeps you going on to play it till the end credits pop up...

Just leaving thumbs up, forgot after 150h...
