The game is super slow. And I don't like to tape everything half of the play time. But this game is the best that happened to the Life is Strange series since the original LiS and Before the Storm. Oh, wait...

A decent, beautiful high-fantasy action-RPG. I enjoy myself.

Best game of 2025 for me at the moment.
Persona + Yakuza + unique flavor.

I finished the story and enjoyed it. Looking forward to the next game. BUT! I romanced Neve. And in the last scene, I realized that she got a male chest. :))) WTF?! Is she a trans? I get it that all of the cast are pansexual. My Rook is a female who goes down on other females, but it's one thing is to accept everybody, and another is not to disclose your biological sex to a partner. This is a super weird thing to do in a woke game that is all about consent and acceptance. So, I enjoyed the game. Most stuff that reviewers and online trolls bashed didn't bother me, but some product/narrative team choices were very, very weird and harmed the game's success rather than improve the game.

Update:
OK, the story is pretty generic, and some of the characters are cringe AF. But still, a beautiful game with nice combat. The story has its highs occasionally.

I really don't understand all the hate. The worst thing about this game is the character designer (which is terrible). Except for that, I see a very tight action RPG with a nice combat system, good story, and beautiful graphics, and it also runs smoothly on my hardware. What is not to love?

Update: finished the game. Max will return, I hope the writers of a Double Exposure won't.
It's really the worst of LiS games that I played. Bad writing, bad characters, bad motivations. IDK - I will give another LiS a chance, if it will be released, but Double Exposure is a big let down. Play it out of curiosity, if you really doesn't have anything to play.
Hope, next time they will try to include a good story and ultrawide support, before all possible races and sexual orientations...

I loved the first LiS and Before the storm. Didn't play the second, third was kind of meh.
This one is not very engaging at the moment. Over-the-top "representation" is everywhere. Everyone is black, or Arab, or LGBT, or fat. The character reactions feel mostly fake. Also, are those people teachers? I spent a few years in art college. Didn't have this vibe at all.
I'll keep playing, but feels fake and pretentious AF for now.

It's actually interesting and fun!
