That's more neutral than a negative review.
The technical side of the game is good - graphics, art direction, music.
But the story is simplistic, full of cliches and cringe. Poems and the protagonist's monologues are the worst.
I'll finish the game, but I don't think I'll change my review to positive.

I do understand it's a first work of a single dev and it's something great to achieve. Keep working on your games, study, take the feedback from the people you respect and your next game will truly be something!
I tried to make my game for a few times in the last 15 years and didn't succeed, so I applaud to you sir!

WTF?!

A generic Gears of War clone. Semi-multiplayer, janky AF, story is non-existent, controls are incomprehensible.
Looks cool, but that's about it. Playing this feels like a chore.

Why Quake 2025 is called Doom: Dark Ages?

The game is super slow. And I don't like to tape everything half of the play time. But this game is the best that happened to the Life is Strange series since the original LiS and Before the Storm. Oh, wait...

- Put it on a 50% sale before releasing all its content
- Sell a second season pass a full price
Will never ever pre-order anything from them.
Why should I, if I can get unreleased content with a 50% discount?

A decent, beautiful high-fantasy action-RPG. I enjoy myself.

Best game of 2025 for me at the moment.
Persona + Yakuza + unique flavor.
The game loop is HIGHLY rewarding.
Too bad I need to wake up early tomorrow -_-
