It's the swiss army knife of Source Engine games. You feed and mount content from other games into it and can enjoy a plethora of custom gamemodes. I highly recommend that you at least purchase Counter-Strike: Source and the Half Life Complete Collection (Not Alyx) in order to mitigate most missing texture issues.
