Fantastic game with terrible meddling by Sony.

This review will be changed to positive if and when the decision to require linking to PSN is reversed, but for now, save your money.

EDIT: Good job.

One of the best ways to experience one of the most important games in history. The level of quality is what you might even expect from Valve themselves.
Additionally, Xen is an improvement in every possible way over the original; the game is worth the price tag just to experience the final chapters alone.

However, crashes aren't an uncommon occurrence, so be sure to quicksave often.

Played on stream with some friends, was overall a pretty good time and I'm sure it's an excellent standalone experience as well.

Cosmos is best girl and I don't take criticism.

Played this game for days on end when it first came out on mobile, so many years ago. I'm only just now getting back into it on Steam, and while a lot has changed, it's still quite an enjoyable experience.
Recommended for anyone who likes platforming or the feeling of wanting to thrust your fist into the screen at mach 10.

Quite an interesting concept, I will say. Plays just like you would expect a classic platformer would (Controls could be a bit tighter in liquid form). While it's nothing truly groundbreaking, Drop Alive is still much better than most other indie platformers on Steam. I've cleared every level up until the level "Drop Alive" (Which I beleive is the final stage?) It's more challenging than what I expected, and might be a turnoff to more novice players, as the difficulty really begins to ramp up almost a little bit too quickly starting at the electrical-themes levels.
Music was a bit repetitive at times, but it wasn't ever a bad thing. I enjoyed the leitmotif being used in a variety of styles to accentuate the current environment, and the choice of a woodwind ensemble was very soothing. A game I'd definitely reccomend to those who just want to take an hour or so and relax.

Very, very good game with lots of strategic depth. With the addition of custom scenarios and free scenario creator, there's always something new to do, even after you've beaten the main campaign (Which is absurdly difficult once you start getting to Brutal difficulty). Haven't spent much time in the multiplayer modes yet, but overall, the premise of biological warfare/disease in general has always really intrigued me. So if you're looking for a semi-realistic plague simulator that lets you ravage a variety of diseases across the face of the Earth, killing everything they touch, this game is for you. Also, please release an OST; the music is very eerie and I mean that in the best way possible.
Overall: 9.5/10.
