Amazing game. If you like Dark Souls, and anime, this game will be for you. It it souls-like, but it handles mechanics/controls differently than souls, enough to make it stand on its own. Instead of distributing stats, you simply only need to level up, and stats come from different "Blood Codes" that you can obtain and equip whenever you like. Each one grants new abilities for your character, and you can master most of these abilities to throw on another Blood Code. Story seems a bit cheesy at first, but I got pretty invested in it as I progressed further.

-Gained power to fly and bomb my enemies from above

Freedom/10 would deliver liberty to my enemies again

This game gave me the feels, even though the story itself was quite cryptic. This is mostly a puzzle/platformer (albeit quite simple) with very limited combat, but that shouldn't stop you from trying it out.
Pros:
+Beauitful atmosphere
+Cryptic/tragic yet interesting plot.
+Lovely protagonist (fits the plot well and when she becomes an adult -- just wow)
Cons:
-Very linear. You won't get the complete immersive feeling of being able to explore this majestic and surreal world.
-Controls can be a bit wonky
-As stated in other reviews, this game is super short; about 2 hours max. Sadly no replay value unless you haven't gotten all the achievements

I recommend buying this game on discount. I hope we get to see Moonchild again sometime.
7/10 would feel again
