this game is short but it's very replayable thanks to the engine feeling so good after 10 years of refining it, the unlockable customizations and the additional levels on the arcade machines. The optional multiplayer mode is okay, it can be frustrating at times and that's only with 2 players. I have some issues with some of the level designs here and there but it's still a lot of fun just moving around

Already beat it back in 2022 but I had gotten the game through "illegal" methods and also cheated a couple of bosses, abused the roundabout and lobber exploit, etc.

I played it with my sister this time and beat every boss legit with an actual copy of the game. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, the art, the music, the gameplay design is all exceptional, the process of learning a boss and finally beating it is REALLY fun and I only ever felt like being hit was my fault once or twice due to co-op bugs, but other than that I have no issues or pet peeves with this game, phenomenal singleplayer and co-op experience all around.
